The last time I fought with them, I ended up agreeing to a 24-month agreement at $6/month, but they would not let me pre-pay, so I used a credit card I knew I would be canceling soon, then bought a SiriusXM gift certificate for the balance of the contract and added it to my account. (Which worked like a charm!). I also set calendar reminders to cancel the service (which ends on 6/1/24).
When I saw this offer, I figured it was worth the fight, so I got into their chat and said I wanted to cancel my subscription. It took a few minutes to go from the chatbot to the live chatbot, but when they asked why I wanted to cancel, I simply said, " The service is fine, but SiriusXM Customer service is abysmal."
They came back with an offer for $13.99/month, so I sent them a screenshot of this deal and said I would buy this; otherwise, please cancel my account.
A few minutes later, they said they would honor the deal and sent me the new terms and conditions, which were different from this deal because, once again, it has an auto-renew at regular price condition.
After another go-around, they agreed to honor the non-renew condition in this deal, and I accepted. Then I asked if I could pre-pay the deal (expecting they would say no, but they did!)
With a few dollars left from the gift certificate, I paid $128 for 36 months of service. How did I do?
Update: After reading some of these posts, I chatted again trying to get the deal. No luck. I've chatted twice and both said they couldn't do it. It was linked to Radio ID.
Smart!

After dismal failures noted earlier, I tried again this morning via online chat and got a (surprisingly) helpful rep. I was able to get the $3/36 month deal for both a 2023 Ioniq 5 and a weeks old 2024 Prius Prime.
Thanks for posting about this deal. It took a lot of hassle but I'm happy with the end result.
Sometimes the trial goes through without requiring any Credit Card info, and sometimes it says you qualify but have to pay like $2 per month (or maybe it's for the trial duration). In any case, when that happens I create a credit card number with the site privacy dot com and set it as either one time use or set a monthly credit limit in case I forget to chat to cancel (as sometimes the offer says your subscription will automatically begin after the trial).
Also...often times when the trial ends you'll get an email to either extend it for free, or for a couple bucks, which makes it easier than letting it expire and opening another trial.
My free trial expired on Saturday and on Monday I received a direct offer asking me to come back for $3/mo. Subscribing through that link was easy after that. FYI, it is actually $3.63/mo with taxes.
Nope. The free 3 month sub works just as long as you use a new zip code and different name. It thinks you sold the car. I've done this many of times
