I don't think you know what a fact is. 🤔
Not today satan. Never again will I deal with SiriusXM
I tried to cancel my subscription to take advantage of this offer but ironically their website works fine until you get to the cancellation part and then it comes up with a page saying they're having technical difficulties and to contact customer service.

Not sure why people ignore my posts and still trying to figure out how to deal with agents. I posted how to cancel and link to sign up again. No csr interaction necessary
I followed your steps but at the end I was redirected to a $5/12months plan for my 2023 vehicle. Thanks for the tips though.

It was hard for me to get this deal… My car is brand new and they said it's only for certain radios. We went up through the chain of command after 30 minutes they agree total cost for three years $120.00 including taxes. Dealing with XM always reminds me why I hate them..

Agreed. They are masters of bait and switch. Laughingly, after refusing the $3.00/mo plan, they called me the next day asking if I wanted the $5.00/month plan. I suggested that they pound sand and told them not to contact me again. Blocked them on email as well.

I am a serious SiriusXM hater!!! (Their customer service, not their programming.) Over the years, I have spent hours fighting with them for over-billed charges, automatically renewed subscriptions at quadruple the price I had been paying, and more.

The last time I fought with them, I ended up agreeing to a 24-month agreement at $6/month, but they would not let me pre-pay, so I used a credit card I knew I would be canceling soon, then bought a SiriusXM gift certificate for the balance of the contract and added it to my account. (Which worked like a charm!). I also set calendar reminders to cancel the service (which ends on 6/1/24).

When I saw this offer, I figured it was worth the fight, so I got into their chat and said I wanted to cancel my subscription. It took a few minutes to go from the chatbot to the live chatbot, but when they asked why I wanted to cancel, I simply said, " The service is fine, but SiriusXM Customer service is abysmal."

They came back with an offer for $13.99/month, so I sent them a screenshot of this deal and said I would buy this; otherwise, please cancel my account.

A few minutes later, they said they would honor the deal and sent me the new terms and conditions, which were different from this deal because, once again, it has an auto-renew at regular price condition.

After another go-around, they agreed to honor the non-renew condition in this deal, and I accepted. Then I asked if I could pre-pay the deal (expecting they would say no, but they did!)

With a few dollars left from the gift certificate, I paid $128 for 36 months of service. How did I do?
You did ok if you feel it was worth the hassle. It will be a cold day in Hades when I beg to purchase anything from anyone.

I have a current subscription that expires in August of this year. I chatted with Sirius to try to get this deal... They said: "Unfortunately this promotion for $3/month for 3 is applicable on vehicle Year model 2016 and older only"... That should be added to the title... you must have a 2016 or older vehicle...

Update: After reading some of these posts, I chatted again trying to get the deal. No luck. I've chatted twice and both said they couldn't do it. It was linked to Radio ID.

Took advantage of a previous similar offer, tried to cancel on the website would not let me cancel, says to call, called, they told me 2 separate times that there is no active subscription and that I would not be charged after the 3 months. at the end of the trial, I was charged called in the next day, they said I could cancel the now apparent subscription to their app, but they would keep part of the subscription... they are so desperate for money they are alienating their consumer base. Never Again...

Just activated my old radio. The web says its not available for my radio and only offered me $5/mo. I went ahead and talked to live agent chat and gave me the deal. $3/36mo

I tried 3 times to activate my 2017 Accord with the $3/36 month deal and no luck. Every time they revert to the 2015 and lower only apply.

Um...5th time is the charm I guess.
After dismal failures noted earlier, I tried again this morning via online chat and got a (surprisingly) helpful rep. I was able to get the $3/36 month deal for both a 2023 Ioniq 5 and a weeks old 2024 Prius Prime.

Thanks for posting about this deal. It took a lot of hassle but I'm happy with the end result.

For those not minding a little bit of micro managing you can get SiriusXM for free or sometimes $2/month or trial period (for the Platinum package). Essentially you just keep signing up for the Free trials. If it says the vehicle is not qualified for the free trial you generally just have to change the name of the person (I go back and forth between myself and my spouse), or modify some other things like your address slightly. Once the trial comes to an end I usually wait 1 full day (or until I'm planning to drive that vehicle again) before attempting to activate another trial. I have 4 vehicles and use do this for all of them, and have been for at least the last couple of years.

Sometimes the trial goes through without requiring any Credit Card info, and sometimes it says you qualify but have to pay like $2 per month (or maybe it's for the trial duration). In any case, when that happens I create a credit card number with the site privacy dot com and set it as either one time use or set a monthly credit limit in case I forget to chat to cancel (as sometimes the offer says your subscription will automatically begin after the trial).

Also...often times when the trial ends you'll get an email to either extend it for free, or for a couple bucks, which makes it easier than letting it expire and opening another trial.

Got the deal with patience. I previously commented my free trial was about to expire. SiriusXM kept sending renewal notices for 5.99/mo subscriptions. Therefore, I was trying to sign up for this $3/mo plan. Each time the website or chat would say ineligible and switch to 5.99/mo. Of course, I declined.

My free trial expired on Saturday and on Monday I received a direct offer asking me to come back for $3/mo. Subscribing through that link was easy after that. FYI, it is actually $3.63/mo with taxes.

Nope. The free 3 month sub works just as long as you use a new zip code and different name. It thinks you sold the car. I've done this many of times

There's a 3 months platinum for a dollar offer as well. Anyone know if I can cancel right away and keep for the 3 months? It says until the end of the billing period, but for all I know that's one month or immediately since I already paid? I dunno, hoping someone else does.
