Here's the best guide I've come across on how to use Dirac:

And Dirac Live does manage bass. According to Dirac Support:
"Yes, standard Dirac Live has always corrected the subwoofer response, taking advantage of the AVR's Bass Management."

For those who can take advantage of this deal I envy you, but I love my RZ-50, especially since I've now gone 11 channels using the pre-outs. Not sure if the extra 20 watts per channel really make that much of a difference.

BTW based on what you said you're only using 9 channels, sub(s) usually isn't included since it's often self powered.

As I said, still playing around with the system and now comparing what I have with Samsung's Q990C 22 speakers soundbar system and I must say the Samsung is coming close to this Onkyo powered Klipsch Reference Premier system, especially at the recent Slickdeals $700 price. Not saying it matches a full AVR system, but at that price and mid to smaller size room, and wireless speakers, it does make you pause.
