Not necessarily I have and I have heard of other people getting the watch and you were able to get AppleCare plus on it goes on the actual unit, no guarantee
That means the watch was never activated before. If it's activated and past 60 days, you can't.
That was the case in more than one occasion….. you set the purchase date yourself

If I remember the fine print correctly at T-Mobile it indicates you have to be on the $15.00 a month watch plan. I'm currently on the $5 the month plan. Personally don't need unlimited and extras so over time it would be a bad deal in my use case.
Yes, but you should be at least on the $10 plan if not $15. With $5 you only get 500MB. With a capable device like this you are bound to use more. It can stream music, navigate, make calls…
I'm also on the five dollar plan I find it fine don't need anything more, so that's two of us at least that don't need to spend more than five dollars. Never had an issue where I've run out of mb etc
Mine was. Also the o2 sensor was active. I had I think around a month to add AppleCare.

Actually that's wrong. You have 60 days after purchase to add AppleCare. As in if it's returned and it's been less than 60 days the next owner can add it. Second option is to take it into An Apple Store and have it inspected. People have added AppleCare as far as 6 months out in the last thread without issue. Apple is great about this. So yes, there's a very good chance you can add AppleCare to this. I added it to mine without any issue, no inspection needed. And I bought it from this eBay seller last month during the Presidents' Day sale.
See my other comment. You can also take the watch in for inspection within 6 months, Apple will check it out and you will be eligible to add AppleCare for 7 days. Many people have done that and posted about it in other threads for these refurb watches.
They cost 4 bucks from China shipped if that… don't waste your money there is no difference!

They wouldn't do that if you could still get AppleCare.
I just bought one open box from Best Buy that had been activated but was still in the first 60 days. I was able to add AppleCare.
