A thousand times better than a soundbar. A pair of these and a subwoofer is all you need. They turn on and off with the TV and give you great sound.
Man wish i could talk myself into getting this lol.

Why do all the discounts come out once you buy a system? I recently purchased the Edifier s350db and enjoy them but always gets you wondering

Other than power source, do these need to be connected back to the TV? I assume since it's Bluetooth, it connects to the TV wirelessly. However connecting the pair to each other? Does it work like Sonos or do you have to connect them to each other?

I have these and they will work without a sub but you will want to get a sub eventually.

I don't know about these specifically but looking at the back of both speakers - I assume standard right connects to left via a cable that should come with the pair. This cable is usually decent length so you can obtain some separation if you preferred.

There is usually a pairing mode either the volume button gets pushed to turn light blue and again to turn green for volume or a separate button.

Looks like there are additional inputs where you can connect a male to male RCA cable with one end going into the pre-out of a receiver if you want to incorporate them into your audio system. The pre-out won't send additional amp signal to the already powered speakers.

Got it. And what's the recommended receiver wattage for a setup that includes a sub?

These are powered speakers and most subwoofers are powered too. You don't need a receiver.

I am not using a receiver in my setup yet so I cannot say. I have a JBL 550P Powered Sub that plugs into these speakers.

"Receiver" should not be in these comments. These are active speakers for 2.0 or 2.1 setups and will benefit the most from a direct connection to a primary source like TV, PC, or DAC.

a subwoofer is optional and will only add one more connection to the speakers directly.

I've been using these speakers paired with an Infinity reference 10" sub for almost 5 years now. These speakers are amazing, I have them hooked up through optical with my computer and sounds best with music. They come with black covers or if you take them off, they look like the image. It is crazy that they're the same price now as when I bought them back in 2019! wow.

I use the optical out from my TV for no delay in getting the sound and picture matched up. If your TV does Bluetooth, that can work too, or you can use the USB. The remote for the speakers allows you to choose the input, so you can switch back and forth if you use the optical in and the Bluetooth or USB.

The speakers need to be connected to each other. If you look closely at the back of the speaker with the controls, on the lower corner, the red and black speaker outs connect to the other speaker.

There are cables in the box for all of this, except for the subwoofer.

For the subwoofer, there is an output for a standard speaker cable that will activate the sub when the speakers are on. https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Bas...01D5H8IIU/
