Thanks for posting this. It's the same base price at Best Buy if you want to add on Geek Squad Protection. The rep was able to give me 10% off so my total was <$1800. I should be able to get cash back as well. I like this TV better than the S95C because the One Connect Box can be troublesome. I have the 65" version, and it'll occasionally drop out when I'm using my 3090 gaming PC.Either way, thanks again!

S90 every time.

I'm confused. Did you get 10% off from Samsung or Best Buy?

If you buy from Samsung then pick-up at Best Buy, they don't allow you to add geeksquad.

Been trying everything to get Best Buy to match Samsung, but they simply won't budge. I like geeksquad more than Samsung's warranty since it covers burn-in.

Samsungs cover accidental damage. Geek squad doesn't.

I had the S95B, had 2 panel replacements and a main board. Every time it was pulling teeth with samsung and they tried to get the claim denied, thankfully my tech was looking out for me. Less than a year and 3 issues, be prepared to be without a TV for several weeks if you need parts as samsung was not shipping them to repair techs. The last panel/current has >1000 hours on it and burn in is visible caused from the netflix menu. I have image shift on and do a pixel refresh. The interface is nearly unusable, slow, laggy, and completely unacceptable for the price. The stutter was also terrible when watching movies at 24/30 fps.

I would not buy this TV even at a fantastic price. My panel's were in warranty, they are 1400 in parts for a 65.

I upgraded to a 77 S90C, user interface is better, the 144hz gaming is nice, the stutter is still present, and the screen is still very reflective. The remote gets a slight upgrade and is quicker. I have noticed image retention that is fixed with a pixel refresh. It has about 500 hours and has not needed a repair. I have not noticed much of an image improvement.

I get Samsung products for an insane deal. I got the 77 S90C for less than a discounted 65 LG C3. I would buy the LG if i went back. I have a S95D on the way as a work demo unit that Samsung assures has a better processor, updated interface that is faster, and a anti reflection screen.

Buy and LG. They are better for most situations. The picture is better on the Samsung and I suspect it gets brighter, however, EVERYTHING else is better on the LG.

My 65 LG C2 was overpriced and I paid more for it than my 77 S90C. Even with the size difference, I'd take the LG, so would the wife and kids.
I've been using the 77in s90c connected to my pc for probably 8 months without any sign of burn in, and I often leave it on the same screen for hours at a time. I don't even hide the taskbar. Lg's don't compete unless you get the g3, and even then qdoled looked better than mla in last years tv's (idk if 2024 models are different since I haven't looked into them).

Lol 8 months. Tv's should last about 5-10 years minimum. The burn in happens about year 3-4 and gets worse and worse as time goes on. You won't get burn in at 8 months unless your running max brightness and have cnn (red color) running all day like the rtings test. Don't get oled if you plan to keep your tv for more than 5 years and can't ignore burn in on your screen. My lg oled has burn all over the screen and it's really bad but i just try to ignore it. Sometimes it's hard though because the burnt areas make peoples skin appear green or brown when their skin is pale or pink. Watching content like hockey where there is a uniform color is a nightmare if you have burn in. It's extremely visible in those scenarios.

Today, I was able to chat with a representative and receive the additional 10% off. Trading in a 43" TV as well. Total before tax was $1,538.99. Customer service rep informed me that they could not offer the Care+ and the 10% discount as they didn't stack. Went for it anyways! Will be replacing my 2019 65" 9-series Samsung in the living room (will move it to bedroom). Will hopefully pair well with my recently purchased q990c sound bar & speakers. To date, I have had nothing but good luck with Samsung TVs. Can't wait!

Mine has burn in, Rtings had burn in within 4 months, and reddit has a long list of people complaining about the same thing. Maybe you hit the lottery. The C2 has less burn in, better brightness after usage, and better response rate.

I'll play Devil's Advocate here. My wife and I owned the LG C1 77" since 2021. No issues whatsoever. We wanted a bigger TV for our garage so we tried 3x 85" Samsung TV's last year - QN90B 85" , and 2x QN95C 85". Samsung didn't have any replacement stock so we were forced to take the refund check. Now we're in the market for an 83" OLED or 85" Mini LED. Despite the three TV's having issues with their panels, I still miss the 85" size. You notice it going back to a smaller TV. Of course those issues were going on when the S90C 83" was <$2400...

If I had the chance to get the QN95C 85" for <$2500, I'd be all over it.

Ended up cancelling & finding a S90C open box at Best Buy. Added 5yr protection for $300 (had 2yr for $160), got $100 off from speaking to haul away tv service offer that was online, free installation/mounting delivery (was also online) and also randomly was given a $100 gift card. All-in for an open box excellent was $1410.99 before added $299.99 5yr warranty pre-tax. Take into account $100 gift card, $1310.99. Insanity.

Since this thread got me the 10% off, here's the code that Samsung gave me back that actually works: LZMROQT6XG

Looks to be one-time use, so best of luck!

Yes. The S95B was notorious for people bending the screen when handling. If they hadn't included that I might not have purchased the tv.

Do you have edu email? That will get you an epp account. Or if you are a government employee, I believe medical/first responders may have access too. Go to id.me and verify your email.

Epp is separate from invite, invite gets new customer a 5% by their unique invite code. epp is the website simply displaying a different price for you.

It actually matters more on the lighting of your room, qdoled suffers from grey sheen that hinders the contrast when quantum dot is triggered by ambient light.(btw if going miniled maybe try the qm8 deal, much more dimming zones and brightness)
