Nope. QD OLEDs (Samsung) are different from OLED (LG) panels. OLEDs have a white sub pixel layer where as QD OLEDs don't. QD OLEDs typically have better panel uniformity from my experience. LG OLEDs have an advantage when it comes to size because they can produce panel sizes up to 97" where as QD OLEDs are currently capped at 77". Lastly color brightness and vibrancy is much better on QD OLED as well.
It depends on use case. If you absolutely need Dolby Vision then I'd recommend you go with LG or Sony. The equivalent Sony QD OLED is way more expensive. The only LG OLED than can compete with QD OLED is the G series that's equipped with MLA Technology.
I'd go with the QD OLED unless you absolutely hate Samsung or you need Dolby Vision. Stay away from the S90C 83" because it doesn't use a QD OLED panel.
IMO... the 5 yr Costco Warranty is better than the 2 yr BB warranty. The 5 yr Costco warranty coverage is as follows: Yr 1 - Manufacturer, Yr 2 - Costco, Yrs 3-5 - Allstate. My 65" C1 (purchased @ Costco) developed burn-in during year 2 of the warranty, and I received a full refund through Costco Concierge. That's as good as the BB 2 yr warranty that covers burn-in, and then there's 3 more years of coverage through Allstate/Costco (though that 3 yrs does not cover burn-in).

It's most likely the same price. When it is cheaper at the store it will say in area above the features near the shipping info "May be available In-Warehouse at a lower non-delivered price". This is missing that info so most likely the same price. I know the LG TVs are for sure the same as online prices. I just looked at those yesterday.
I just got one in-warehouse and it's the promo but instead of the $100 shop card, its simply $100 off ($1899 before taxes).
It's 150 shop card now, so I'll see if I can just bring the receipt in and get $50 back.
How many years have you folks kept your old TV's before upgrading to this one? And what do you do with your old TV's?
I usually rotate them around the house. I sold off my A80J 65" earlier in the year because it was sitting in it's box after I received the S95C 65" from Samsung. Other than that I still have my LG C1 77" and S95B 65".
Thanks for the heads up. I bought it yesterday when it was only $100 Costco Shop card so I just called in to Costco customer service and said they would make a note on my account that this will be adjusted for my order.
The best thing to do with OLEDs is constantly vary your content. Just make sure you aren't watching CNN all day or playing the same game for 1,000's of hours. I've been using my LG C1 77" since December 2021, and I haven't had any issues. I also have the S95B 65" and S95C 65". Both panels still look phenomenal. I have blackout issues with my One Connect Box from time to time, but that only happens when I'm using my gaming PC.
I dunno, if I can't fall asleep during a show and wake up at 2am to the Netflix screensaver having been cycling for 3 hours without my TV eventually crapping out as a result, this might not be the TV for me 🤔

I think you'd be fine it if happens once in a while, but don't make it a habit. I've always used an Apple TV 4K with every OLED I've owned, and I always set the screensaver to enable after 5 mins of inactivity. Everything will turn off fifteen minutes after that. TVs have an auto off function after a set time of inactivity, but I always let my Apple TV 4K handle that. I also have a Google Chromecast Ultra connected to each TV so I can say "Hey Google, Turn off Living Room TV".

Yeah that's the thing, I don't ever decide to do it. Sometimes I just fall asleep lol. And yeah I always connect my TVs to my Google assistant. Perhaps I can figure out a way for the watch to sense when I'm asleep by my heart rate, and automatically shut off my devices that way. 🤣

That'd be interesting, haha. I think you'd be fine. Just don't make it a habit, haha. Like I mentioned most TV's have the feature to turn the TV off after a certain amount of time - 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours etc. Unless you set that to never you should be fine.
What's the main advantage of S95C over this? I don't really care about the one connect box or slimmer panel, are there any perceivable benefits from the S95C? Both got 144hz?

I bought the S90C 77" to replace my S95C 65". The One Connect Box is horrible. I'm on my second replacement. My 3090 gaming PC will occasionally drop the audio and sometimes it'll completely drop the signal. Once I receive my S90C 77", I'm moving my S95C 65" to my bedroom. Everything else works flawlessly with my S95C 65" except my gaming PC. I played through Spider-Man 2's campaign on my PS5, and it didn't drop once.
Both panels support 4K144. The main difference is that the S95C has a higher peak brightness; it comes with the One Connect Box, and when mounted it looks flush due to the Tnfinity One design. Lastly the S90C 77" panel is the same panel as the S95C 77" panel.
