The advantages of the 7800XT vs. 6800XT will be some modest performance improvements due to newer architecture, raytracing, other 'features' found on the 7000-series, and improved power consumption/better thermals. At the same price point, 7800XT should be the most common choice, if the 6800XT is cheaper it may become a more difficult decision -- just how much cheaper to be a 'better' choice is more of a personal calculation.
The upside of this specific 7800XT is that it's widely considered a top-tier choice that performs really well, has an outstanding cooling solution with low-noise, and can be pushed a good bit beyond stock performance with undervolting, etc. Video card pricing is still, imo, over inflated but showing no real signs of returning from the stratosphere of the past few years. At this particular price point, at this particular time, this particular card is an good buy, imo. :-)

That's usually how it works.
Put it in a waterproof and temperature proof container, submerge in water in a deep pot, then boil the hell out of it. Then it should be acceptable.
I'm not sure of the point you're going for, but you have that backwards. Nvidia announced the 4080, everyone went wth are those specs?, and they relaunched it as the 4070ti. In other words, the 4070ti was originally going to be the 4080

Edit: to answer my question it's worse than my 6900 xt in every way according to passmark. Maybe better with Ray tracing idk.

The best AMD brands that I see repeated are Sapphire, PowerColor, and XFX

I think the bigger issue here is not the cards name but in what universe are there even any Christian oriented games worth playing? I don't want to go down that rabbit hole but I think every game i play has some sort of non Christian vibe to it and I love and play every single one of them. Skyrim Christian edition. Doesnt exist. God of War. Diablo. Doom. Baldurs gate 3. GtaV. Call of duty. I mean what is left? Tetris. Pong? I really feel bad for this kid.

To be clear, this is the exact card I bought. I'm satisfied with it. It doesn't mean though that GPU manufacturers haven't gotten a little spoiled increasing their profit margins over last few gens. I guess in fairness to AMD... they did expect more uplift with the 7000 gen.
