Take it out of the box. Then it will fit in many cars.
Nope. Traded work for a 65" C2 and it wouldn't fit in an Impala or LeSabre, at least not to my risk level. Fit easily in the GTI though. Those cars are rather undervalued for their utility. It's a bit too wide for any car to sit sideways in the backseat, so you'll need the seats to completely fold down from the trunk which most won't be a wide enough space to slide into the backseat.
Against my better judgement, i trusted the stock presented in the online app and went to 2 stores, wooddale and lombard, il and both had 0 in stock. Even the wooddale store rwcommend i go to the lombard store. I wasted 2 hours and a half tank of gas. F target and their fake online stock in their app.
Got my display model today after they called me having taken it down. I could see the C4 already mounted but it was off. They couldn't find the legs or the box so they brought it down to $800 for me.
Scared me butt to drive it home in rush hour for 30 minutes. It's flawless. Gonna come back for the 42" once the clearance price updates for them.
Picked one up today at the 4th store I visited in So Cal. They didn't want to budge on the $1399 price so I bought it, knowing the other stores in my area had them at $999 (but sold out). Walked out of the store with it and went to one of the other stores to try and get a price adjustment. I was as pleasant as could be but the "Customer Service" lady would not adjust the price because it was Clearance priced. I asked if I could return it and rebuy it and her response was "that just ruins the point". I could not agree more, but she just set on not providing any help at all. Went to another store that had it at $999 and asked for a price adjustment. This lady was the complete opposite and adjusted the price in just a couple minutes. Long story short, net purchase (after tax and red card) was around $1030. Well worth the hassle.

Which store had the stock? Long Beach on Bellflower?
Congrats to the people that were lucky enough to get one. I tried 3 times in the last 2 days to pick up a 65" at Target in Orem, Utah.
They had it on hand but would not budge on the $1,399 price as recently as this morning. Apparently a couple of hours ago they did the 50% markdown and someone got it.
Thats odd, I was there while they updated the price at around 3:30pm (they switched the paper showing the price) and I am able to get 42 for $360. They did update the 65 to 999 around that time as well.
Any thoughts on an extended warranty on this TV? Wondering if it's necessary/worth it. A lot of horror stories in the one star reviews of the TV dying. Especially since I'll be paying with a target card and won't have my credit card's extended warranty policy.

I got mine in Vernon Hills, IL yesterday. Highland Park, IL also had one when I was there three days ago but it was a 55 inch and unsure if it is gone. Online inventory status was "Unknown" at both places when they indeed had them just FYI.

San Dimas. I got the last one
Not worth probably one of the best tvs on the markets for $800 off???
No, the demand at current price won't allow it to go lower.
