Credit goes to
TealCable6389 for the initial discovery, but the deal is much broader than in their post and with better trade-ins than the Pixel 7. Still, give them a thumbs up if you like this deal.
T-Mobile has great deals for Pixels 8s and Moto razrs [t-mobile.com] with instant discounts and a $500 trade-in credit (over 24 months). Upgrades qualify, no new line required. Go5G, Magenta, or ONE plans qualify.
Pixel 8: $100 + tax
Pixel 8 Pro: $300 + tax
Moto razr 2023: $52 + tax
Moto razr+ 2023: $250 + tax
This deal is available through all T-Mobile sales channels: internet, phone, retail, kiosks, etc. Upgrading through Sams Club and Costco will get your $35 activation fee waived and a $75 bonus gift card.
Instant discount sale may end at any time. Ask for the $500 trade-in promotion by referring to
Smartphone Trade ID240206, Promo Code: P706 [t-mobile.com].
Cheapest trade-able phone for the full $500 credit would be
a Samsung S9 for $90 [ebay.com]. Trade-ins must be in good condition (turns on; no water damage; no screen cracks; and in my experience screen burn and scratches are acceptable).
This deal is for existing T-mobile customers with qualifying plans to upgrade. There are better deals for new T-Mobile customers, like
4x iPhone 15 + Essentials plan for $100.

Last good SC deal was moto edge 2022. I got 3.
My only deals outlet now is Samsung.com trade in deals. Here's hoping for a great mid-cycle deal like they did for the S23U. I got mine + Tab S9 + watch & earbuds for less than $400!

I plan on doing the trade in using a family members line but they won't be with me at the time.
I did the trade in for my line online in a rush of panic, hopefully I can return the unused phone and get the better Costco promo before it ends.
I believe Costco's is just like Sam's club so that is a definite NO. You will not get the phone right away. What happens is they order the phone and have it shipped to you from the warehouse. usually arrives in 3 business days.
Positive to this is since it's being ordered by them and not you, you avoid the $35 activation fee, from customer support or retail locations.. Also as I found out if anything happens, let's say you're just not happy with it and you want to return the phone by shipping it back There is No restocking fee( IE full refund ).
If you purchase a phone in a retail store and get it in hand that day and have the same situation, Even within the 14-day buyer remorse. there is a $50 to $70 restocking fee since you purchased it from a store. (Amount dependant on store location).

remaining balance is via 24 month bill credits
He Read the TOS properly and came to the same conclusion that this deal should work the way it's advertised here on SD. Sadly, Sam's club's T-Mobiles are supposed to be corporate , but YMMV on their in-store reps knowledge.
I had the same results. I'm going to the other Sam's in my area tomorrow.
Hoping to cancel the trade I already did online and do it at Costco, but I already used the IMEI on the phone I plan to send in
