Two nice guys were waiting in the TV area. I asked if they were there for the C3. They said yeah and that the employee was getting them from the back! She rolled up with five on a cart and asked if I wanted one! I was shocked. The first guy bought two. The second guy bought one. I bought one, and a young guy showed up after me to get the last one. I almost bought two but when the younger guy showed up, figured I'd share the love.
Turns out, others had shown up earlier in the day but were turned away because the employees didn't think they had any. I happened to show up after they found them. Took them awhile to bring them up so must have been stored in some corner somewhere in their warehouse.
This is the first YMMV deal I've ever been fortunate enough to snag and my first ever 4K display so am very appreciative! Congrats to those who also found one and good luck to those still trying!

Use lgtv companion to turn on/off via network. I tried color control but that has a lot more options that you may not like that can mess with your settings. I found lgtv companion to be easy. Set windows to have all blank screensaver like after 2 or 3 minutes. Don't have windows turn off display. You can also set lgtv companion to act as a backup all blank screensaver as a backstop. Set that to like 8 or 10 mins. Use all black desktop wallpaper. Don't auto hide taskbar via windows. Use a software called iconid to auto hide taskbar and desktop icons.
Be careful of very prolonged static white ui elements. Those will cause you noticeable issues. I played a lot of a certain game with white ui elements. That created a very very slight burn in you can only see on a very dark grey background. That was gone when the TV did it's scheduled screen refresh. I had to mod the game so that the white ui elements become transparent, since I play that game alot.
