I went to my local target hoping to find a LG C3 65" or 55". Sold out. However they just marked down the 42" to $359.99. Thats 70% off. I bought two. There were plenty of more. Big in store only YMMV!

Had an interesting experience at the Target in Eagle Rock, a neighborhood of Los Angeles. I figured no way I'd get the deal because I never get these deals, but I saw the Eagle Rock Target showed 7 in stock around 10am today. Everywhere else said OOS. I didn't believe it but looked an hour later and it showed 5. I thought, oh wow, that could mean they actually have some and are selling at the clearance price. Being 15 min away, I figured worth a shot, so I jumped in my car and raced over there.
Two nice guys were waiting in the TV area. I asked if they were there for the C3. They said yeah and that the employee was getting them from the back! She rolled up with five on a cart and asked if I wanted one! I was shocked. The first guy bought two. The second guy bought one. I bought one, and a young guy showed up after me to get the last one. I almost bought two but when the younger guy showed up, figured I'd share the love.
Turns out, others had shown up earlier in the day but were turned away because the employees didn't think they had any. I happened to show up after they found them. Took them awhile to bring them up so must have been stored in some corner somewhere in their warehouse.
This is the first YMMV deal I've ever been fortunate enough to snag and my first ever 4K display so am very appreciative! Congrats to those who also found one and good luck to those still trying!
Enjoy your new OLED TV! I was the other guy waiting in line at Eagle Rock earlier today.
Found one, but was informed Target clearance prices are location specific based on stock available. They do not match clearance prices for other stores.

Checked our local target (IL 60123 and surrounding), most of them r gone. App or web won't show any inventory. This is specific in store only deal. Our local targets also selling display models at cheaper price. Note, display models r sold as it is without any warranty tho 🥶 I was told that display TVs has been running for over at least a year without power off so I am not sure if it's worth the risk. Considering price, u can take risk if you want. lol

Why would they not include factory warranty? The receipt doesn't denote a difference between display or a new purchase.

I think most of the clearance is coming from display units which might be at risk due to never been off. Just think of it in general, it's been running for over a year which might add big risk in display LED going bad anytime and these r old TVs which manufactures might not want to replace any parts.
I have the 55 C1 and I hate it
If you are using it with an AVR then web OS will make you want to punch your fist through it daily.
The CEC and ARC Oly work right about 10% of the time if that , my C1 had bad panel out of the box too.
The edges of the picture look like there is a white or bright border around the picture.
They changed the panel 3 times and the main board twice, it made no difference.
Web OS is a trash fire and it put me off of ever thinking of getting another LG anything.
No burn in yet but I would never chance it by using it for a PC monitor.
The industry is moving away from OLED's now for a reason.
Sony stopped making high end Bravia OLEDS that use these panels.
Picture is not great at all due to the bright edges and the software is absolutely abhorrent.
You might not notice how bad it is if you are not using an AVR though.
But the constant update nags are also a huge PITA too.
Web OS is just not worth the headache next TV will be a Bravia for sure
Hmm I have loved mine never any hardware issues I don't use the OS but sometimes hdmi ports do not register a signal buts its .5% I would say the arc seems more troublesome. I have over 13000 hours and the picture is just as good as the first day. Just bought the C3 and only issue is the remote won't work with my soundbar after it's programmed but it worked great with the C1 go figure.

Huh that is weird
I wonder how different web OS is on the C3 than the C1.
But I don't think I would take a chance again they botched the software so bad I would never buy anything with web OS again.
The other thing is that Alexa doesn't work at all, there are tons of complaints about this too.
I can't even get it to switch the TV in or off.
I bought a cheap universal IR hub off AliExpress for $1.78 that works with Tuya smart life to control the TV and it works perfectly with the LG profile, no need for me to train it.
This device is under $2 and control literally hundreds of thousands of IR devices with Alexa and is made by some basically no name Chinese company but LG which is a multi billion dollar Korean company couldn't even get one of their near top tier TV's to be able to be controlled by Alexa, it just goes to show how absolutely piss poor the QA is on their software.
After I updated web OS it got even worse for ARC now, now sometimes when I turn the TV on there is no sound at all from either the TV speakers or the AVR and I have to power cycle everything, my fire sticky AVR and the TV and switch the audio settings to get it work now ,before it would just constantly revert to the TV speakers even though it is set to HDMI ARC.
My old 2008 Panasonic plasma Never had any problems with CEC or ARC.
So pathetic that they can't even get a technology this old to work right on a TV this modern.
Also the motion remote and the OS menus are like something out of the Early 90's.
Had I known how crappy the software on this Is V was I would have never bought it even if it had the best picture on the market the aggravating software makes it not worth it.
And I don't even bother with any of the smart TV apps either.
Also very annu is the fact that they let the smart TV apps row appear over external sources, sometimes I see the web OS app row pop up over my fire TV home screen, this should not be allowed to happen ever.
And they didn't even bother to include a button for home to control external devices home button like a fire stick through CEC so you can't use the TV remote to press home on the fire TV.
The whole thing is poorly designed garbage
Edit: Also, these panels are bright AF. I had to set brightness to 0 just to match my other panels. IDK where some ppl get the idea that these things cant get bright or exhibit strange lighting issues; PQ is super crisp
Yeah it's so much brighter than my secondary monitor. Been looking for a deal on a 27" oled to match the brightness of the 42c3 lol....

they wear sunshades in the house to make things brigher
None in the Denver metro area. I'm on a quest now. I will not be defeated
Good luck, don't expect to much help from community members here they'll give you the same old my local store nonsense as opposed to telling you where you might actually find the product you're looking for !!!

I got a 55 inch display unit with 8000 hours for $300, but it seems to have the target logo burnt in. Can't return it, but is there anything I can do to try and get rid of it? Pixel cleaner does nothing, I only see the logo on the burn in test YouTube videos so it could be worse, but not sure if there any fixes. Is this still a good deal? This is my first OLED and it is amazing aside from that.
