When will a nice backlit keyboard be available for HTPC use?
I think this keyboard is discontinued, although its successor N9Z-00002 is basically the same. OK price if you need it. The similar Logitech K400 Plus goes on sale for $20-$21
YMMV and mine might just be a lemon, but I cannot stand the trackpad on my K400 Plus. Sensitivity seems to vary across the pad and it frequently requires turning on and off to get it to respond to tap clicks.

the K830 price went to roof. I recall I purchased for $49 back to years ago. I should list my one too to $300+
I bought mine back in 2019 for about that price ($49) and it still looks and works like new. Battery lasts forever on a charge, and I repurposed a phone screen protector and put it on the touchpad back when I got it, so there's pretty much zero wear on it. I rarely need to use the letter keys, only the Play/Pause media key (I put a piece of white tape on it to make it easier to see in a dark room before the keys light up). Love mine but wouldn't pay $375 for it.
Another thought, this K830 is one of the few keyboards that will turn on my Dell MicroPC that's hooked up to my TV (pressing Alt+P) so I don't have to get up to manually turn on the PC. For whatever reasons, other wireless keyboards I've tried won't power up the PC with the same key combo - even though the dongle is plugged into the same USB port (only one specific port on the Dell allows Alt+P power on). I found a Rii K06 also works for this purpose, but other Logitech keyboards I've tried have failed to work. No idea why. Any wireless KB will work as expected if you power on the Dell manually first, but to power on from power off state, not many work.
Just as I'm looking for one of these to make using my ROG ally more usable when connected to a TV! Too bad it's sold from Antonline. I'd rather have sand rubbed in my eyes then potentially have to deal with their slow and trash customer service ever again. Bad seller kills the deal.
Add b&h to the list, their duplicitous return policy is up there.

There are some non named brand keyboards on Amazon that you can find have solid features. I discovered them when looking for my k780 replacement, needed extra device connectivity and back-lit keyboard, and they have it all. It's en route to my place, but I'm quite excited to try it. I personally use Gyro W10 remote for my HTPC though.

FYI, if you touch-type, you should know that the number keys are in a non-standard location (example: 6 and 7 should be exactly centered above the Y key, but they're not, as are all the rest of the number keys).
I just got this keyboard, and wow the trackpad is awful. I'm used to my Logitech K400 and I think I rather have the physical left and right mouse buttons. On this keyboard, I keep resting my thumb on the bottom (easy to do since it's portrait) and the cursor jumps all over because it thinks I'm pinching. Maybe I'll get used to it, but it's been so hard to get the hang of it.
It also keeps dropping my inputs and I have to keep swiping on the pad to get the mouse to move. I don't know if I need to replace the batteries or not.

You could use a iPad keyboard trackpad
