As someone who has pulled 800 in a conventional deadlift, I would never recommend deadlifting with a straight bar unless you're specifically training for a big deadlift. A trap bar is a lot easier on you and you get most of the same benefits. Ymmv.

For those interested in the review, link posted but he pretty much trashes the bar. I think its a decent bar especially for the price and no one else comes close to this affordability.

Yeah, I don't believe that guy. I have the same one and I loaded up 585 and set my pr. It hardly flexed and no bend.
