Samsung's S90C has gen 1 panels which may have substantial burn-in probability but does C3 have it too?
Am getting cold feet with respect to OLED, so want to ask If one is using a TV to just project from laptop thru HDMI, will a QLED TV suffice? Because all video will be processed on the laptop itself.

Not putting down the C3 at all as it is a fantastic TV, reason why I have it and kept it.
Mini led is better for bright rooms thus Sony and Samsung has these as their top of lineup this 2024

As a personal anecdote my main TV is a 15 year old plasma and I game with persistent static displays. The only issue I had was some temporary image retention when I paused Star Wars on a Hoth scene. It was gone in a couple days.
Also for the technology itself Wulfden has done a test on YouTube where he's had an OLED Switch on a static screen or over a year and it finally got burn in after months and months of being constantly on. So again. Burn in for OLED is a non issue.
