I just received mine. No gig bag. The videos you saw were probably for the deluxe version.
Overall it's a great guitar. Setup was good out of the box, I only did some minor adjustments. Build quality is very solid and it sounds great as well. Some people might not like the rocker switches but this is pretty minor. The plus to them is that you have a built in kill switch.
I'd recommend this to any guitarist.
Oh that's good to know. I'll order a gig bag from Monoprice. If you have any recommendations, I'm all ears.
Looking forward to trying some riffs on coil splits.
I put both of these on my watchlist last night on Reverb. They sent me offers on both colors. Another 5 percent off I believe the total is $255 and change. I'm gonna get one. Ya know, just because. G.A.S

I'm using an old road runner gig bag I've had for years.
But yea the coil splitting is really nice, the single coil tones have some tele twang to them.
Okay, I just got mine. Didn't come with a gig bag, but that's okay. Simply can't complain at this price point.
Speaking of which: this is a wonderful musical instrument. Made in Indonesia, and the craftsmanship is well done (action slightly high, but solid intonation out of box). The contouring is nice. The string gauge is a bit thicker, I think probably 10s.
At this price point, it's very comparable (and subjectively better) than a few high end Squires/ low end Fenders. No fret sprout on my piece.
The pickup switches will take some getting used to. But coil splits are fun!
I promise this is the last guitar purchase for a long long long time.

Don't worry - you can promise us because if you break your promise it's not a big deal...

Well. Not having enough funds is also a good motivator.
I'll go cry in my corner now.
