    Ace has the same package except with a 4AH battery for $10 more. I have these and they work fine, although I dont like Egos system for extending the trimmer wire.

    Adjust the handle so it is balanced with the larger battery, takes less than a minute. You'll probably find you like the string trimmer and a 4ah or higher after you adjust the balance point

    The closer the handle gets to the trigger the less control you have over the head. shake head It's also attached by 4 allen head screws. That's not the kind of thing I'd want to adjust every time the battery size is changed.

    The handle adjustment is for the size of the user, i.e. height and arm length, not to balance it.

    I rigged a "single point sling" to take the load onto opposite shoulder. On the trimmer side, a quick releasing short choke strap has siliconized banding which holds its balanced position unless fully unloaded. (your option to Velcro-wrap to maintain hold until a different-sized battery clicks in.)

    The handle can then be positioned for "control" or in vertical/edging mode, since I'd tightened the handle's Allen screw to allow _some movement/rotation.

    Edit: There are many situations where the hands take all the weight- not implying the sling is a total fix. I also tend to break ergonomic grab-distance rules, to trade off more reach, or when push-tension-bracing the sling, to act as a pivot point.

    Ummmm... are you using the trimmer and blower at literally the same time? You do realize that the battery can be simply taken off of the trimmer once you are done with it and then placed on the blower.

    Great deal, but notice that the trimmer doesn't have the auto loading head, nor the extendable shaft. Two features Ego is known for that are lacking in this one. Would be even better if it were the power head version that you can change attachments on. Wouldn't be this price for all that, though.
