Sigh, that's what I'm concerned about. Can't trust these 3rd-party sellers not to use cheaper international versions imported from overseas for fulfillment or to pass them off as US versions. Sorry, but I want consistency in my library & the proper native version of games.
Is that an issue with the games? It seems like it doesn't matter for the consoles, as we see the Japanese switches show up here on SD all the time.
No, it's not. The game will play just fine. It's just people bitching for little to no reason as usual. The main difference is the rating icon at the bottom left of the cover, which may bother you if you want a uniform collection like someone else mentioned.
BlueDesk535 prefers changing screenname and typing in password every time.
He also loves double authentications on his phone before playing games.
Changing screennames, typing passwords, authentication before playing games. What are you talking about? So many people have multiple accounts on one Switch and nothing you mentioned is needed. All you need is a different email address when creating the new account.

It's not an issue as most consoles now (I think all of them?) are region free and any game will work. It is an issue for some. Most collectors know that the US collectors market prefer ESRB games because the values are higher in most cases. There is also the issue with the DLC, and while it's not a big deal to BlueDesk, most people don't want multiple accounts. Overall though, if you are looking for a game that is hard to find or out of your price range, the Asian versions are a great way to go. I do that with a lot of SHMUPS. I did that with the Final Fantasy Pixel Collection. If you are okay with it, then that's fine. I just always find it shady when they don't advertise what version they are selling. Picture shows ESRB, but reviews say otherwise.
