I got one of these open box at Best Buy for the same price a couple of months ago. I returned it pretty quickly. If you are used to using Surface Pro tablets, the screen resolution on this device is a let-down. Also, the tilt screen function only has one setting, which is much more limiting than you would think.
I guess it's a fair price if you really want this form factor. If not, you can get a much better specced laptop for less from other vendors.
The reasons I'll pass on it:
- 11th Gen Intel (not 1, not 2 but 3 generations back). You have to be upgrading an old laptop for this to be upgrade.
- DDR4 RAM.
- Weird screen tilt with questionable utility.
- Rounded screen edges = missing pixels for no reason other than to copy Apple?
So... what sets this apart from the normal 2-in-1 360° laptops? I understand the Pro and Book models to be used in tablet mode, but the Laptop Studio is just too heavy to be used like that.
