It's the best appliance I've ever owned. I don't even use my oven anymore

I see a lot of reviews saying it stopped working around a year and I don't see an option to buy an extended warranty

What about the air fryer feature? Is it difficult to clean?

Yes. After a while, you just get used to it and only clean the tray or pan. The oil from the food eventually binds to the nonstick element making it a pain to clean. There is a circular grill that traps the oil on the roof of the unit. It's removable but a pain to clean.

Thanks OP. I grabbed a 9 in 1. This is the third I have bought this way. The first two were like new except for unnoticeable scratches. One for home, one for our college daughter, one for the RV. We use it as an oven/toaster. We do not use it as an air fryer for anything messy like chicken wings or splattery things. We do use it for non messy items as an air fryer - things like pre-cooked chicken nuggets, frozen french fries. This keeps it looking good and no big messes.

What's Woot return policy. Their Return page seems not very specific.

In case anyone was wondering about the Wildfire, I just received mine yesterday. I have to say, it's pretty good. First off, my "scratch & dent" had one little chip on the grill pan, but was otherwise perfect. As far as the Wildfire itself, Ninja created another winner. It's a robustly built little machine.

It's intuitive to use, it does what they say it does, and the cooking parts are very easy to clean. The little smoking box works great and provides plenty of smoke for whatever you throw on there. My first cook was just a couple burgers. Deelicious, but a little too smokey.

I don't plan on doing any long smokes on it because the grill is kind of small, but I'll try some babybacks at some point. I keep reading you can't use wood chips, but that's just not true, mesquite chips worked just fine. I will try the included bag of pellets next, but I liked what the chips did. It's too bad the Wildfire XL Pro wasn't offered this time around, that's the one to get with the extra grill real estate, but I'm happy with what I bought.

Update: After experimenting with wood chips and pellets, I understand why they recommend pellets. It's such a small cooking space, it generates a ton of smoke, especially with wood chips. Sometimes you have to experiment. I think that is the main reason why they discourage using wood chips, it's just too intense. Additionally, there's a relatively long ignite cycle for the wood pellets. Tons of smoke billows from the cooker prior to the ignite cycle being over. That's OK because the initial five minutes or so is all acrid white smoke. Once the smoke dissipates a bit it calms down into a more steady thin blue smoke, it's time to cook. The pellet drawer was still smoldering 45 minutes or so after the food was taken off the grill, so you don't have to worry about not having enough smoke. Also, definitely do a full preheat before grilling. The first two times I used it, I made the mistake of not letting it fully preheat. I guess I was worried there wouldn't be enough smoke left (it was the opposite). If grilling, hit start, then the ignite button, let it do it's full ignite cycle, it will switch automatically to preheat and then add food.

For my third attempt, I fully followed the directions. This time I also I used the included pellets. I have to admit, they were much better than with mesquite wood chips I first tried. To be fair, I rushed the cooking process with the mesquite chips and didn't allow the ignite cycle to finish. Too much white smoke. I will try the chips again, but I liked the results of the Bear Mountain pellets. They're very good and available at Walmart, so I ordered a 20 lb bag for $9.97 of "Chef's Choice" blend, which are the same as what comes with the Ninja. The craziest thing about using this is the pellets generate far more smoke flavor than my old Pit Boss pellet grill ever did.

I received mine today and it has a small dent on the top piece otherwise looks new.
The woot ad said it came with the cover.
Mine did not come with the cover that goes over the grill to protect it from weather. I wrote to woot requesting it.
Did you receive the cover?

They sent me an ag300 instead of an ag302 zzz. Half the reason I bought it was for dehydrate function

Ofc it has no dents, started a return, any chance they'll let me keep it?

Good catch! Yeah, no cover came with mine either. I just sent them a message too. I'll be shocked if they do anything. In the event they don't there's a $10 one on Amazon that I might pick up. https://www.amazon.com/Aoretic-Wo...=8-15&th=1

I keep calling it "Wildfire" Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) Woodfire

I keep calling it "Wildfire" https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...t-rolleyes.gif Woodfire

I bought the slickdeal in the link below as a stand for the grill (got the Stainless top)
I think I will buy a cover that covers the grill and it as well

I received my Ninja 9-in-1 air fryer. It was missing the air fryer basket. Only had the crumb tray and wire rack. Emailed them and waiting to hear back.

I got the 6-in-1 BG550CO as I have bought a couple previously and love it so much wanted to have one for my outdoor kitchen. This one arrived particularly in bad shape with big grooved scratches on the front. I can deal with that for my purposes but upon first use it immediately smelled like burned plastic and the motor had a distinctly different grinding noise along with whirring. I am pretty sure bearings are already bad on this one. I've become increasingly disappointed with Woot purchases and this continues to beat the same drum that anything bought here is bottom barrel stuff. Starting my return. Ugggh.

They offered me $20 off, I just took it lol, ask for a partial refund if you still may want it for $40.

Thanks for that info. In my case, I would not keep it due to big time burn smell when turned on and the fan is soooo not normal. I have a couple of others and they have a beefy air draw sound that isn't any where as screechy as this one. * Quick edit had it been free sure would have used it until it died or caught my house on fire Smilie

They answered after a second email. I took the $25 partial refund they offered because I like the Woodfire and I already bought a replacement cover for $9.99. Win-Win
