There are new findings on melatonin use in kids. Still safe, but a couple of studies found that the industry should tighten their standards and dosing and whatnot. Happy sleepy kid time!

Just don't, detrimental to health in the long run. Damages your pineal gland. Do your research, especially for children.

Lots of kids are going to the hospital with issues related to these types of gummies. Don't risk it. It's not regulated.

So it's the melatonin that's the problem?

FYI this is more kids sized as 2.5 mg is not going to do much for adults.

Also this one has a few added ingredients to it such as 1g of sugar and "natural flavors" etc.

I personally prefer the natrol fast dissolve ones and stick them under my tongue 20 min prior to getting in bed
Commercial melatonin doses are hugely inflated because people (like you) figure more = better. This "kids dose" of 2.5 is actually way more than virtually anybody needs or will see additional benefit from. I plan to cut these into quarters!

Melatonin messes up sleep because you rely too much on it anyways, try foods high in magnesium before sleep like cherries, almonds and bananas

Are these for kids? The dosages are nuts.

Suggested dosage for therapeutic use from what I've seen is .3mg for an adult. I take some tiny 2mg tabs and cut them into thirds and they knock me, a 6ft tall adult male, out.

The market is unregulated in the US, so it's a forever race to the bottom (top?) with dosages. I think people see pills with lower dosages and think they're a bad deal, so manufacturers are pumping huge amounts of melatonin into their supplements for sales reasons.

If you're going to give these to your kids, I'd suggest cutting the gummies into thirds or fourths.

If you're going to give melatonin to children, I would purchase even lower dosage ones. We cut up 1mg gummies into thirds and fourths for our kid. I take one of the 1 mg gummies myself and it knocks me out and I get to have bonkers dreams. In fact, I should really take one now to help reset bedtime, I've been staying up too late the last few nights.
