Have this monitor (not the pink one), we use it with a Mac Mini as a combo family computer and it works well. My only qualms are: sound is terrible (we now use external homepod mini), webcam is meh, had to download an app to get the sound to work right and do a couple of other mac specific mods. But after that's said and done, it's a beautiful monitor that costs like 20% of the 5K mac display, and we're not designers.

How is the response? I bought a 32" M80C before but I had to return it as the response was so slow that I can feel the mouse lagging behind.
I bought this for my wife as a docking station + nice 4K monitor / TV. Its really a jack of all trades masters of none, but its very well integrated and looks nice.
The only issue is I hate the Samsung Smart UI for when you need a monitor to work as a monitor since its a little slower than a basic OSD, but it can be functional. It is basically a SmartTV with monitor functions and thunderbolt docking / laptop charging which I think for the price is amazing.
As others said, as a VA monitor its not as bright as a IPS, but better contrast for movies.
I'd highly recommend it after having used it for about 2 months for a workstation / content monitor. Definitely not recommended as a high end gaming monitor (60 Hz, brightness).
Do you know if I can install YouTube without ads, like smart tube on it or anywhere to hack the system? I have M7 and I'm trying to install tizenview , but I didn't find any YouTube videos explaining the process
I just picked this up for my work monitor at home to replace a set up of smaller multiple monitors and my laptop.
This is a nice deal for a work/productivity monitor. No way I'd use it for gaming of course.
Pros:
-Nice sized screen (I have 32"), crisp picture (resolution)
-streaming piece is a plus for me since I have another computer and no tv in that room and I'm familiar with Tizen. But… I can see that being very specific to me. I wouldn't want Tizen on all my monitors.
-Adjustability/stand and VESA is nice, but limited side to side tilt (usual)
Cons:
-color balance and brightness are just okay
-webcam is on top so looks down on me, annoying
-webcam constantly disconnects and I have to pull it off and back on (luckily this is very easy to do)
-Speakers are subpar
-60 Hz refresh sucks in general (but doesn't impact my use case). Fine for streaming though, no issues.

This consistently gets bad reviews here as a monitor, right? All these are VA too.
I have the 32" and I hate it
- very bad picture quality as a monitor. Colors are washed out no matter how much I mess with the settings
- bad ghosting. If you open maps and drag it around the labels literally disappear until you stop moving, and black shadows appear around any text as you scroll webpages
- usb c bugs. If I leave my laptop plugged in and the monitor turns off, I can't get my laptop to turn back on and have to power cycle it. So now I have to disconnect my laptop which defeats the purpose of charging from the monitor
- slow tv interface. It takes forever to respond to key presses, and many times the show will go down to 480p quality or stop entirely
Do yourself a favor, buy a "dumb" monitor that has good picture quality and plug in a chromecast or something

The m8 is brighter than the m7. It's va but it's a decent monitor unless you care about high refresh rates

It has the typical Samsung tizen OS.
