Please be aware this is for the barebone configuration, which means no RAM or SSD. Factor in the cost of supplying those when evaluating the total price.
$5 more at their Amazon store. I'd personally buy through Amazon. They have extremely long wait times before shipping. In some cases months. People also have had many negative things to say about their customer service.
A note -

While I love these mini PCs(I've owned four Minisforum PCs, now), they aren't without their weird bugs. Myself and a lot of other 790 Pro users found that they randomly reset about once a day. Turning the RAM speed down from 5600 to 5200 solved it.
Also, more rarely(every 3 months or so), all USB becomes unresponsive and even survives reboots. Unplugging for about 30s solves it.

I'm not saying not to buy them, they are a fantastic value. But if you want a more bug-free experience, you may want to look at a NUC.

This is a great PC for work/general computing and light gaming - I use mine with two 4k monitors for that it's been great for a while now. I'm personally very glad I got the non-barebones model - having legit Windows ready to go matters to me, and the prices for RAM/storage are pretty reasonable compared to buying them separately. Thinking about buying one of these for my folks next - they're tiny and more than enough for them.

They do game - but I wouldn't buy one as a gaming rig. A Radeon RX 580 still absolutely smokes it in performance and you can get one used for $75 pretty readily. I run Civ6 on mine periodically and it runs fine.

I would guess that an hx99g or hx100g would be much better for gaming with the dedicated 6650m, although the price is a few hundred more. Dunno about heat management on those.

I owned the HX99G for a bit. It's much larger than you think, but as such, the cooling is better than smaller units. Performed very well at 1080p games in general.

I have this same system, barely used FS on eBay for $379 with 32gb, 256 ssd, Win10 pro. Great little system. Played AOE2 DE in 4k without issue. You can set graphics mem to auto, 2, 4, 8GB which appears as dedicated GPU memory even though it's using system memory.

Selling because didn't use it enough and recently got the Asus 14" gaming laptop deal.

How much. I may be interested
