    Why couldn't they put the quad speakers on air. That would have sold me on the air. Still finding it tough to spend another $400. Anyone have an opinion

    2 is really fine. If anything I buy pro for OLED. Once you get used to OLED quality, it's hard to downgrade.

    M2 is not old tech. That's why they put it in the 2024 Air models. Support will be as long as the 2024 Air gets support so probably at least 5 and more likely 7 years. M4 just skipped ahead so it's not that far down the timeline.

    There is absolutely no comparison in the quality of experience. Tablets provide feedback to user through visual and audio presentation and the Pros are a whole league ahead of the Airs. Don't know what people are smoking these days.

    Yep OLED M4 Pro 13 inch through EDU store is only $1200. So just 20% more for 50% increased CPU performance, 300% increased AI/NPU/TOPS performance, and the new exclusive tandem OLED that's a world first on consumer electronics.     Comments on here are entertaining. BBY will NOT price match depending on who you talk to online or their phones. CSRs will say they can't because BBY isn't a membership club and BJs, Costco, Sam's, etc. are so not comparable. As to why get this? Because the mini-LED for the same price as LCD M4 Air. M2 will be around for a while and in Pro models will be much more useful than M4 in Air models. The pencil and keyboard situation for the M2 Pro is also much more cost effective. Got a 2022 M2 Pro 12.9 because it was cheaper than M4 Air 13" and is more useful right now.
