It also shows capacity as 88.8 Ah which is big stretch for something that weighs 1.5 lbs including plastic and internals besides cells, it seems nowadays they try to claim as high as possible rating since I don't think most will check anyways. It's fairly easy to determine true capacity by running it down with constant discharge and noting the time it took to die.
The above said, I think I'm going to cancel my order. $50 is a great price, but I'm starting to think it might be better spending $50 *towards* a better $60 - $70 unit. As somebody else said in an earlier post, who is actually verifying these Amperage claims? These generic Chinese brands have a habit of grossly overstating lumens on flashlights, for ex, so, I'm thinking this charger's 4000A claim is also probably vastly overstated from what I read. I even took a look at the NexPow 5000A charger... that thing should be amazing, right? Should start a Peterbilt... but, the reviews on the 5000A charger also had a bunch of people stating that it wouldn't start a bunch of different vehicles. The other thing I noticed, even though this is supposed to PD fast charge, there were a bunch of comments about slow charging and other comments about the battery losing charge too quickly. So, I just cancelled my order.

I have one that I use to charge my laptop when I'm out camping, so I can keep writing when inspiration strikes.
I bought mine for $53
Fakespot seller rating: D
I'm not risking it
Really wish all these 3rd party seller "slick deals" would have the corresponding fakespot grade right in the OP itself. I know fakespot isn't bullet proof either, but it's a decent enough and should be a mandatory step before purchasing anything from a 3rd party seller.

"Why are you recommending jump starters solely by brand name?"
Because that's the primary distinguishing feature.
Here's how it works: A few manufacturers build unbranded products. Someone or a group of someones, order in bulk an OEM customizable version of a jumpstarter from the likes of:
Guangdong Boltpower Energy Co., Ltd.or Dongguan Huaqing Technology Co., Ltd in bulk, and the manufacturer offers customizable logos and packaging.
"Does it matter? It's still 4000a"
Is it though? The advertised NEXPOW here, the rebranded Boltpower G17 from the manufacturer states starting/peak current of 400a/800a, 18000mah, 66.6w output, at 28/piece for 1000+ orders.
The DB POWER G60, a rebranded Boltpower G60 (they're not creative with their product names)
which is a 6000mah, 88.8w output, 2000a/4000a starting/peak current.
The DB POWER DJS90, also for example, which is rebranded G08CF, is overstating their specifications from a 1200a to a 1600a product.
I have the TOPVISION T-26, a rebranded Boltpower G26, but slighly fudged numbers from 2000a 16000mAh to 2200a 21800mAh
"Not me though! Because I got a GOOLOO"
You bought a Shenzhen Carku Technology Co., Ltd.
and that GP3000 3000a model? That's a Carku E-power 136 model, 1200a peak.
Sorry bub.
There are bound to be certain names that capture a greater audience attention. Maybe it's a different second hand distributor that might offer you a better level of service. But chances are, HULKMAN and LOKITHOR are probably the same distributor, just choosing random different names to see if one branding sticks, or to distance themselves if a brand name fails. The only extra you bought with those brands is denial.
So it doesn't matter the brand name. It matters the manufactuter. So if you choose a
YOBERAUTO, RALXER, DYEETIC, GIATERO, BRPOM, MEGAXMAR, FOURSUN, IRIHUP, SYPOM, UINCLU, GILLAWAY, FANTTIK, ASTROAI, GIMFOOM, JF.EGWO, KATOROE, YABER, POVASEE, TEALYBOO, GREPRO, ASPERX, ECONOUR, DRAWPAW,DINKALEN, or TOPDON, chances are, the listing lies, and you're not getting the product specifications that the manufacturer states.
