Product Description from Walmart
The TowSmart 784 12' Braided Steel Cable with Hitch Lock, Vinyl Coated is great for securing your load often hauled on bike racks or cargo trays. The cable is 12' long and offers a 3/8" braided cable for maximum security and flexibility. Simply insert the pin into the fastener hole once you have positioned the hitch accessory in the receiver hitch. The Hitch Pin offers a sleeved design that fits ½ and 5/8 receivers. It provides a tight and secure fit and is made of corrosion-resistant materials designed to withstand harsh weather conditions. Weather resistant dust cap protects the locking mechanism from moisture and dirt build up. This product is not recommended to remain on vehicles for an extended period. Includes 2 keys.

I wonder if this is intended to bolt to the frame of a trailer too or something. I'll have to google it since all reviews are promo reviews
You probably could run the loop through the tongue of a small trailer as well but I would worry about sharp turns binding up or not having enough slack.
Now that I think more about it the system seemly pretty annoying because the lock would be right next to the hitch....so 12-18" off the ground and well under your bike so you might need to get on your hands and knees to unlock your bike. Or squeeze in via the side between the hitch and rear of the vehicle.
I'd rather just do a traditional pin and find some other solution if trying to keep it locked for security.
Edit: searching around I noticed another design where they have a lock but you can still put a clip through as well as backup. I'd feel more comfortable with something like that.

Thanks. I haul my motorcycle on a carrier that mounts in my hitch I think I need this.
This…
CSR in-store said they no longer price match website prices and I would have to order online then come back and pick it up.
If it was better quality I would of went through the hassle. Says rust free but I doubt it. There is some heat shrink wrap on it where the pin and cable meet.
