I also have a Lenovo Slim 9. I'm typing on it now. It is also very good. It is heavy, it has a big power brick and lasts about 3 hours on battery. It has a better GPU and screen. I love it. But I use it as a desktop replacement.
I don't regret either purchase. But, they each have a different purpose.

That one was a 16 inch. Otherwise I think identical
These LG Grams also come equipped with a 2nd slot for an extra NVMe SSD, which seems to be very rare nowadays.

It's not clear enough. Could you please write the exact model of Lenovo?
You're paying for the light weight, which is phenomenal for a 17" laptop
Go direct to Costco page. Still $700.

Pros:
Incredibly lightweight
16:10 screen aspect ratio and 2560 x 1600 resolution, trust me you won't go back to16:9 after this
Great keyboard with good key travel
Good battery life
Cons:
Can feel a little flimsy because of the lightweight design
Not the top-performing CPU/GPU
The screen can be a little brighter at max
The screen can be a little brifthe
