Lmao at the bad reviews.

"I had this for 3 years and it stopped working. They told me it was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do. I'll never buy anything from them again."

"I bought this and it didn't work so I didn't do anything about it. A year and a half later I tried to get it replaced but they told me it was out of warranty. This is a terrible company."

Best price I've seen on anything this size. I don't even need it and I'm tempted. Damn you slick deals!

How long do you expect these kind of devices to last? Although I agree that things can't last forever, for the price and type of item, I expect at least 5 years of use if not more

We have two of these types of coolers ( and countless other coolers, it's an addiction for me, I don't get it either ) some things I learned.

Just like a fridge at home though it does take a lot of time to cool things down though ( room temp cans + empty cooler expect 5-6 hours or so ).

Another thing is that these are larger coolers dimension wise than what a standard cooler with the same capacity is and it's a best practice to leave space on both sides of the cooler for airflow ( no packing tight in a car with stuff pushed up against both sides ).

All in all though for longer trips these are super handy though, even with nicer coolers like the yeti/otterbox/grizzly/rtic you have to have >50% of the cooler taken up with ice, precool the cooler, put only cold stuff in there, and not open it very often if you need it to truly last more than 3 days or so. These can go indefinitely and add room temp cans in as you go as long as you have a plug or a nice battery pack it can last for those longer trips.

Can I throw this in the back of my car for when I go grocery shopping?
I've used it for this before, works fine just know if your car provides power to the 12v plug when you turn the ignition off ( if you are stopping places ), if it doesn't you might want a little battery pack.

I understand the 2nd quote being ridiculous but the first one sounds like a valid complaint. It should last more than 3 years.

I had the Massimo from costco for 3 years. recently I picked up a deal on a newair for 180 from Amazon. same size but has dual zones which I like for ice. I returned the mossimo
A lot of people are a-holes. Thats life. But Ill always be amazed that people nonchalantly say stuff like this without a second thought completely oblivious to their assholery.

You sir, suck.

I received my cooler today and curious if others seeing this too.
Coupon in the box for a Costway cashback promotion in amounts of $5-$2000. I know, I know, I'll never win but whatever. Anyway, said I need my Costway order number, but of course I got this through Amazon. Tried chatting Costway 4x but their chat agents never answer.
Bigger issue potentially is when I was searching for the order number I noticed the manufacture date on this thing is November 2019. Ok so maybe technically new and unused, but dang I didn't expect that it'd been collecting dust in a warehouse for 4.5 years.

My goal this summer is to explain on every one of these electronic cooler posts is if you don't need a fridge and freezer at the same time (I suggest you think hard) then get one with just one compartment. You lose a MASSIVE amount of space because of that divider. It's not just the physical space that the device occupies, it's the loss of space due to size constraints that can go into each. Think before you buy.
What's the biggest one with one compartment you've seen? I've been looking at these but it seems like anything 30 quarts or up is two compartments.

It's alive again and cheaper.

Anyone know if this can be used as an outdoor fridge?

Anyone have one of these? Curious how long things will stay cool after unplugging? Also how does it compare to the 58qt cost way model that has wheels.

Got it, plastic feels a bit cheap, considerable weight. All to be expected. On thing I didn't like tho is that it is poorly insulated, my igloo from 5 years ago holds temp better, I just filed for a return

Thanks for the honest review. I've been eyeing this one as it's still on sale. I may need to keep looking
