This thing looks like Frankenstein made a desk. At first glance I expected the desk to fold away or something to justify the goody shape. Nope just an odd piece of furniture.
People lack common sense. I bought $50 metal desk from tribe and it had a bunch of reviews saying the holes don't line up etc. you can't tighten screws as you go when building things like this otherwise the some holes won't line up. Leave everything semi loose and once it's all put together you tighten everything.
I had some spin wheel pop-up window for an extra discount. I got $15 off $60. Had to add a filler to get it to take though.

I see the appeal for productivity wherein folks want all their docs and items at a hand's distance. However, will pass as the ability to adjust the desk in sit-stand mode is paramount. It has done wonders ever since i moved to sit stand desk and never going back to the stationary sitting desks.
If this fits your needs then I think $60 is a good price. But I see multiple reviews say that it is hard to assemble and there were problems with screw holes not aligned right. Also I wish they'd have better information on all the dimensions.

Yes. Easy to get the $15off. Picked one up locally. Took a few hours to put together but it went fairly smooth. Just needed a little persuasion at times. Perfect for the granddaughter.
If the left and middle vertical boards were removed from the bookshelf it would be an interesting piece of furniture, because it would open up the shelves for the person sitting at the desk. As it is it's stressful just looking at it. poor design

Since you have put this together, would you mind a couple of questions? This could work for me if it was reversed.
Could it be put together so the shelf is on the left side of the desk? It doesn't look like it from the pictures, unless the shelf can be turned 180 degrees and the legs attached to either end of the shelf.
If so, what is the depth of the desk part itself? I see the 31.75"D and assume that is the shelf part, so I'm guessing about 20" for the desk?

At that point I loosen up yhe bolts and put in a little glue, then give final bolt down. That way the thing is never going to come apart again but it's never gonna fall apart again either, which is the main problem with most furniture today.
