1934s looked wider than the standard at that time. but certainly still narrower and much shorter than doublewindow nowaday.

1950 version was a few inches wider but still alot shorter than current fridge. but then they werent white.

Bought 2 new ones from last week. Same deal. Received one of them earlier this week, and the box was busted and seemed to have regular tape at the ends. No seal. But everything else looked brand new with the plastic on all the insides. Literature etc.. turned it on.. heated fine. No, it cannot be used as a fan, just a heater. Will update post regarding condition of the 2nd one.. which is expected tomorrow.

The smaller the better imho. Basically all regular electric space heaters sold in the US are 1500 watts, so put the same amount of heat into the room per hour as each other. The only real differences are in the thermostats, fan, and controls. If you can get the same features and power output from a smaller device than a larger one, that's a bonus.
