Knipex 00 20 09 V02 "Cobra" Pliers Set (3 Piece) [amazon.com]
Amazon UK - sold by KNIPEX store

International shipping option for prime members will be free, however not for several weeks. My delivery date is June 11. Decent price if you're looking to basically score a free wrench for the price of two. You can probably replicate this price shopping the sales that go once and while for individual wrench sizes, but not a bad option if you're looking to grab a set. Basic rubber dipped handles, which some may even prefer due to the slimmer profile [easier to stash/carry side by side in tool pouch] and marginally 'lighter' weight in comparison to the comfort grip option.

Set comes with 3 cobra water pipe wrenches:
87 01 180, 7-1/4"
87 01 250, 10"
87 01 300, 12"
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Great starting out set with Knipex. I personally never found a use for the 12" pair; it always felt too bulky for my job as a service repair plumber. The 7-1/4" are my most used tool and the 10" provide enough leverage and torque for all my other needs.

I used these for a few years before trying out the Comfort Grip Pliers. Was such a huge upgrade in comfort that I won't go back to using the regular dipped handles anymore. This is still a great intro set to the Knipex brand and you'll be blown away by the quality if you've only been used to "Channellock", "Milwaukee", "Irwin" or "Lennox" Brand water pump pliers.

I usually use the 12" to hold back-- typically on black gas piping/fittings. Otherwise, agree, the 10" is plenty. This seems like a good price though for the kit almost like getting a free 12"

Giving this a big ol' left-handed TD
Joking of course-- true left-handers don't complain about our station in life
Great deal, I still use them, just a little more awkward for the sinisters

Yeah the 12" is pretty large for most tasks. Could probably sell it off locally pretty quick on OfferUp/CL for 25$, or give it away as a gift. Imagine seeing this bad boy at your next white elephant.
Though if you're buying this, bet you'll just end up holding onto it even if it just sits in a toolbox of stashed knipex 😂. I have a collection of cool, lesser used knipex. Kind of weird it's a thing cause I don't collect anything else.

My biggest is the 10" (along with the 6" and 5"), and that's always been enough for my uses, but I'm kind of surprised to hear that 12" is too big from a plumber - do you do strictly residential?

What's better? The Cobra or Alligator pliers?

They each have their use, I own both. If I'm just spinning something a full rotation or holding it in place I prefer the cobra. If I'm working in a tight spot or making small movements I prefer the alligator. All in all though I use the cobras much more and they're easier to use with one hand.

I'm looking for a deal on the knipex plier wrench. This one seems like a good deal though.

Wow, whole $10 off

10 ≠ 16.xx? It's over a 17% discount which is decent.

Knipex pliers wrench has been on woot a few times recently, both individual tools and sets. Not a big discount though. I got the comfort grip 7.25 for around $45. Amazing tool, well worth it at any price.
