The 'newer' Genesis models are made in China. Most of these Genesis II models were made in USA.

If you examine a Genesis II vs. those 'newer' models, it's quite obvious the newer models are inferior.

BTW, I think this deal expires on Sunday, May 26... according to Costco magazine promo.
If only in store had natural gas. Called a number and they all said only propane
I converted mine to ng. Very easy..

Thanks.

I was in Costco yesterday when I saw the grill and they had like a pile left. I went home to think about it and decided today to go buy it. When I walked in today there were 2 left. By the time I went to pull a cart someone had bought one. So I ended up buying the last one. These things seem to be selling quickly.

Is the stainless worth the extra?

Can somebody tell me the dimensions of the E335 box? Trying to figure out if it'll fit in my vehicle.

Thanks

I couldn't fit the box in my Q5, so I unboxed it in the parking lot and fit everything.

Will assemble this weekend

Interesting, did you drop the seats? I just bought one and it fit with plenty of room in a 2013 X3 with the seats down.

I converted mine to NG. All you need is new orifices and regulator, plus fittings and pipe. I got everything needed in a kit for about 100 bucks a couple of years ago I guess. You will definitely void your warranty doing the conversion. I have a feeling that the grill does not get as hot as propane but still worth the convenience.

Or you can just order the Natural Gas version online for $150 more and save yourself all the time and energy. Plus keep the warranty valid.

I just got the $200 Kitchen Aid deal the other day…can anyone explain why they would pay more? What are the features that skyrockets a grill price? Mine has the searer too!

Weber is supposed to be better quality and design. Some people take pride in their grills so they pay extra.

I'm like you, would get the cheaper ones since they work just fine and I don't grill daily!

S-435 is a wider 4-burner grill with stainless hood.

E-335 is the more common 3-burner size with black enamel hood.

Carts are same painted metal that will rust over the years.

I prefer the tougher, easy to clean black enamel finish but the extra space is handy when cooking big meals with multiple heat zones.

Weber does not sell conversation parts.

That said, I converted one with a pack of spuds and drill bit for about $15 from Amazon. I needed a long quick disconnect gas hose, so that added another $70.

Purchased an E335 last weekend, was $799 in store.

Assembly wasn't too bad but removing and reinstalling the lid absolutely sucked definitely need 2 people to do that. Besides that there were a couple of non visible spots with no/flaking powder coating. I sprayed them with some high temp enamel paint just to make sure it wouldn't rust over time.

Initial impression is that it's very good quality, but time will tell. I also like having the tank externally accessible, super easy to install and remove, but it doesn't look the prettiest.
Go ask for a price match , and they will return you 100 $ - Since you are within 30 days of the offer

Thanks for the details!
So $100 ish for the kit or paying the $150 extra online for the NG version straight from factory. Personally the latter seems like a no-brainer to me.

$66 to have it delivered put together, also worth it. Just bought the 335 for my son as a house warming gift. Natural gas easily got to 700+ degrees.
