Yes. This would be more than enough.
It's not necessary as the system was designed to be installed without being vac'ed down. However, it will be far better at doing its job if u do vac it down.
Theoretically, you can record and repeat the IR functions from the remote control and then repeat them from any IR hub which are available for cheap on Amazon and such sites.

I don't know the rules about posting links to CB sites, but if you google "Costway cash back", you should arrive at a CB monitor site, which lists all the CB sites in order of amount. The top one gives 11%, but probably for new users.
