So you would connect both speakers with wire to the Bluetooth amp and then connect wirelessly to the amp to stream music. Is that how it works?

My current solution is a marine amp inside of a Tupperware with the bottom cut off mounted under my deck. I shorted the 12v remote with a toggle switch to control it. It's made it two years so far and at less than a hundred bucks I'm okay replacing it whenever....I'm 90% sure I'm going to do the same for another location in the yard unless someone shares a better idea.

That is correct. Also, the Fosi amp mentioned in this thread is a great amp. They go on sale from time to time on Amazon.

Worth noting that that amp is also currently on sale with a 40% off coupon (YMMV) resulting in the amp being 47.99. if anyone uses it outside put it in some sheltered place or use a plastic box with a hole for the wires (If you want to be really fancy, or will need to run an extension cord one of those green outlet boxes would do the trick.) the amp power rating is at 4ohms so in theory you'd be pushing a max of ~67wpc with the amp positively cranked so you should be rather safe just know people that while these speakers are rated for 120 Watts that is the absolute maximum the nominal rating is about 35 which should be fine for most people and if you blow them, they have a two-year warranty and you were listening to your music at "sensible levels"

Really, these speakers are amazing at this price point and will almost certainly blow away whatever Bluetooth speakers you are using on your deck, and that amp will be able to drive them nicely again for most people.

These are nice if you have a 2 zone receiver, otherwise a nice bluetooth speaker is the better option
