Once it became clear that WFH was here to stay, I ended up picking up a logitech embody via another SD post for $1200, and I do like the embody more (I prefer the fabric on the seat, and the additional support all through the torso with proper posture), but paying 6 times more might have been partly acceptable because of the stimmy money, and I was beginning to have comfort issues with the length of time I was spending in one chair.
I think now... I would rather have the $1200 and my workpro 9000, turns out that comfort over the long haul is more appropriately served by being sure to get up on a regular basis and taking a break. I also got a standing desk... which I think I have used while standing like 3 times in the last 3 years , I just didn't like it for typing, etc. It works better to just get up every 60-90 min to grab some water, make a cup of coffee, bio break, etc... I learned that there is no magic chair where you can sit for 12 hrs straight and not pay for it later. I used to get the $50-$100 SD special cheap office chairs for years... and I tried DXracer (I also was a big gamer)... and THOSE chairs are NOT worth it... it is definitely worth it to get something like this chair that is infintely more comfortable and well made so will last more than a year.
