Pretty standard deal. I've seen this on eBay among many other sites for this price or very close for a while now. Obviously, Newegg will be a brand new product so, there's that. Unfortunately I didn't really see any crazy deals this memorial day on PCs or parts.

The catch is the "seller". Many have swarn off that seller. I have, but this deal is quite interesting. The drive is worth something. I have a am4 mb that needs a cpu.. I just must resist.

If you take the best price on the 5600x $99 awhile back. $132 would be the target price of the 5700x based on the cost per core compared to the $99 5600x. Add to it the release of Zen 5 coming. They will certainly have a CPU/Motherboard/Ram bundle on Zen4 in the the upcoming months.

You seem to be mixing two different things. The DRAM cache is primarily for storing the Flash Translation Layer (FTL). That is basically a big table that maps the logical location the computer things the data is stored at to the actual physical location on the drive as the drive does things automatically in the background to manage the flash wear leveling, garbage management to consolidate partially used blocks, fold pSLC into MLC/TLC blocks etc. Obviously, this is accessed constantly so being able to hold it a DRAM cache is really helpful. Otherwise you end up having to read it from the flash where it is stored permanently to find out where the data actually is before you can then read the actual data. NVME drives with HBM will use some of the system memory for this. Better than not having it but not as good as local memory cache but that isn't an option on a SATA drive so they'll have a small cache built into the controller and then just read the FTL from the flash as needed.
The pSLC cache on the other hand is about writing a single bit to a flash cell instead of the 2 or 3 bits it would otherwise store. Writing just a high/low or on/off type value to the cell is obviously easier or quicker than carefully writing to one of 4 or 8 different levels. AFAIK there is no reason a pSLC needs a DRAM cache any more than normal writing needs a DRAM cache. It does mean more access to the FTL. Initially writing more blocks as you are storing less information in each block and then updating it when the garbage collection process automatically migrates the pSLC to TLC blocks when the drive isn't busy to free the cache back up.
It's entirely possible this drive lacks both or that the pSLC benefit is limited by the lack of the DRAM cache but there are plenty of drives that still have effective pSLC while still being DRAMless.
I am currently using an Ryzen 3600 from a Microcenter deal. When the Ryzen 9000 series cpu are released the price of the 5000 series will drop.

I got 5950X (I need cores) in Apr 2022 for $495+tax ($800+tax on start) with coupon in MC but now it $350+tax! This summer will be $300+tax?
7000 not really nice, very hot and consumes much more electricity (+50% power but only +20% performance by Gamers Nexus tests), it's practically factory crazy overclocked 5000 series, so I pass.
Will see how AMD fixed problems in 9000. If not - good strategy stay on CPUs of discounted 5000 series, 8 cores optimal (12 cores could be better in some cases), if no need max 16 for full power.
But looks like 5700X3D for casual gaming and other home tasks is optimal by price/performance. Now it $190+tax, if this summer price will drop to $150+tax price - just amazing.

I have no idea about your case, my be light use is so-so. But my experience with Teamgroup products (not only SSD) is bad and a lot of bad reviews on Newegg and Amazon. They cheaper and work. Until they suddenly die.

Sata isn't a bad drive. Something from crucial or Samsung would have made this deal better
