FYI - they outsource trade-ins to another company. You get the trade-in box in a separate shipment.

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. If you don't reset device as instructed this may hurt the trade-in value. There is also no way to get your trade-in back if the 3rd party lowballs your trade-in.

I made this mistake with the recent iPad trade-in deal. I missed a reset step, and had messed up something on the trade-in form. In the end, I got $4 for my trade-in and couldn't get my device back…

TLDR; read, and follow instructions.

There is a checkbox that's automatically checked that states "Accept the new value if it changes after inspection (uncheck to get your device back without credit)"

You probably missed it, but you can indeed get your device back if they lowball your offer.

For anyone that qualifies, you can get an extra 10% off through id.me if you work for the govt or other qualifying service sectors. It stacks with this trade in and discount promo.

The modem on the 6th and the seven are horrible I had to end up switching to the Galaxy I couldn't take it anymore
I concur. I have my galaxy z-flip 5 as my backup but i might change it to become my main phone at this point. I'm honestly really hyped up for the z-flip 6 coming out this summer. Moreso than the pixel 9 pro, surprisingly. The only thing I miss is the pixel's telescoping camera.

I've used the 7pro and 8pro and really regretted upgrading to 8pro. On the 8pro, the volume is lower, phone is thicker, slightly heavier, and the performance increase is unnoticeable. I would've gone back to 7pro but I upgraded storage on 8
The P7P is a sleek device. I used to have one. I'm kinda regretting trading it in for the Galaxy 24 but I wanted to go smaller. Loved the curved display and the smoothness. The Google assistant experience is top notch, especially when it comes to spam protection/ voicemail/ call answering. Feels like a robot is working for you.

Whatever makes you justify it, you go. But I find it unlikely that your battery is worn out after what, a year? And if it was, I wouldn't be buying another Pixel anyway.
I have an iPhone 14 Max as well for the same amount of time and I checked both my Pixel 7 Pro battery and iPhone, the battery deterioration on the Pixel 7 Pro is 2% more than iPhone, but, I guess every phone irrespective of brand, battery expected to deteriorate with time.
My wife's Samsung S22 Ultra battery deteriorated, but more than 7 Pro and iPhone 14.
I am guessing these phone companies deliberately make some critical parts like batteries and a few other components deteriorate faster than others so that people keep upgrading to the latest phones.
In every other threat, I read more comments about the reason for replacing the phone batteries than other reasons, which proves my theory.

What's the cheapest 7 Pro you can get on eBay?
Around $200 to $250. In fact, I would probably just keep the 7 Pro and pass on the 8 Pro.

I was going to ask, but found the information myself Smilie
Phone needs to be unlocked. I was planning to trade in my locked mint mobile pixel 7pro. So it looks like the phone needs to be unlocked by the carrier.

They are NOT referring to carrier unlock, just make sure there is NO lock setup to go to the home screen

You can have this unlocked by contacting Mint. Most of us here did so. Just contact their customer service.

So if my mom is a teacher, I can get her to provide a code via ID.me and I can checkout with my google account? Even though my google account obviously has a different name than her ID.me account? She just needs to log into her id.me account and looking for a way to generate the Google store code?
