Hard to commit when there was the $300 off $500 and there were numerous other deals that included a battery and charger for $150 or less and $220 for 2 tools and battery and charger.

Have owned EGO products since 2018. They work pretty well, though battery life can be iffy. Edger however is complete garbage, not sharp or powerful enough to be useful. Also note that there are two models of the power head, this is the older model with the worse trigger mechanism. Mine still lasted 5 years, but it will probably fail (is fixable with some electronic work). I'd primary get this for the polearm and string trimmer. Batteries are NOT a good price. Amazon sells the 2.5a for 110. The 5a tend to be more reliable in my experience.

I just have to say that I regret no purchase more than my ego mower. The battery lasted me only 3 years and ego customer service told me that the average life span is only 5 years, and there's nothing they could do for me. I should have just bought a gas mower.

Although the promotion says $500+ Ego outdoor tools and equipment purchases, it doesn't seem to apply on Ego mowers.

correct. these are the 3 individual item listings on the website:

Polesaw + head (with battery and charged included)
Edger + head (no battery or charger)
String trimmer attachment

I only need the edger so I plan on keeping the edger + head and grabbing the battery and charger from the polesaw purchase (I'm not on the EGO ecosystem so I have no batteries). I will be getting rid of everything else. This basically gives me an edger (with battery) for cheap. cheers.

I'm pretty happy with the edger, but I have found that it works better with the 5ah battery I had instead of the 2.5ah battery it came with.

In the past I've used the 20% off coupon you can find online with the Lowe's advantage card in-store and it has worked on sale items. I picked up the 765 cfm blower with 5mah and charger for $219 last year with the coupon. I wonder if anyone has tried that coupon in-store yet? It won't work online I've tried.
