Hopefully you guys don't need the warranty, because it's actually quite garbage in reality. Never Dell!
I really like 38/39'' size, but the 39 LG curve is just too aggressive at 800r.

I have this monitor and absolutely love it. No flashlighting, viewing angle issues, color/black uniformity is a thing of the past. Nicely configured white balance and inky blacks. In HDR mode, things can get pretty bright in the windows environment, but you can adjust this. HDR windows games look breathtaking and I've managed to inject it into other game like Starfield and Subnautica. You can use reshade to add HDR to some games. (SInce I'm still on windows 10, so no auto-hdr through windows) I haven't had issues with coil or fan noise since updating the firmware.
The bad:
The first unit I got had issues with on-screen menus cycling or getting stuck without touching the controls. Thankfully I got it on a deal from Best Buy and they let me swap it for a fresh new one. God knows what I'd have had to go through if I dealt with Dell. I turned off the automatic pixel refresh because I didn't want to keep using the joystick under the monitor for fear of breaking it. I just put my PC to sleep every few hours, as that sets off the auto-refresh before the monitor goes to sleep. I also use an app to make the start menu sliver FULLY disappear, the one that stays even if you set the bar to auto-hide.
The 1000 nit profile has a downright obnoxious ABL that darkens the screen agressively if the light level gets too high. (Don't even try using it on the windows desktop) Bright daylight in games like the Avatar game get downright gray. I prefer the 400 nit true black profile. I set max nits to about 500 in games and the ABL is practically unnoticable.
It's still the best monitor I've ever had.
