Currently typing this on a OP10 Pro that is being held together with a case because an hour in the sun caused the back to warp and the glue to separate.

I've said it several times and I'll continue to say it: this company doesn't make quality phones like they used to. My OP6 is still running perfectly in near mint condition and that 4 year battery performs better than my OP10 on day 1.

I've had my 12R (coming from an 8) for about a week now. So far, I'm very happy with it.

Recent things that continue to annoy me with their OS: was unable to setup wyze cam v4s just the other day, yet my wife's s23 had no issues and the constant killing of background apps, even when you're flipping back and forth.
Still haven't found a decent screen protector that works with a case, I've even tried several straight from China.

It gets old having to jump through hoops to make things work right that should just work.
This is my fourth OP phone and I'll probably jump on the s24fe when it comes out.
For what it's worth, I had no problem setting up my Wyze v4s on my OnePlus

That's weird. I had the 6t. It was good for several years, but battery life became less great over time. I bought a used 9pro 5g. It's great except for battery life not making it through a day of mid to heavy use. Wife has the 11pro. It has very good battery life and is solid. I've been using a used 9 pro 5g for two years now. I can't really complain other than thr battery.

Somebody reported about bad quality microphone on 12R. Do you have any issues?

Seems like a good deal, but I've heard some horror stories about OnePlus's software updates messing up phone functionality. Can anyone weigh in on that?

is this a good phone just for watching YouTube, TikTok and doing WhatsApp video calls?
Overkill for that, but yes. You'd be better off with a Moto G Stylus 5G 2023/4, Pixel 6a, etc.

Also on a OP 10 here. Semi tempted to bite the bullet but maybe I'll just wait a little longer and get a Pixel instead
Pixel can be a hit of miss. I have returned two of my Pixel 5A - one of the buggiest phone that I have ever experienced.

My OnePlus 6 is still my preferred device for use at home on Wi-Fi. The only reason I replaced it is because AT&T didn't whitelist it.

Can trade my OP11 for the 12R for about $70 after $401 trade in and $30 coupon.
Based on what I've read, the 12r is the better phone (screen and battery) but not a better camera. Seems like a good deal to get a bigger, newer battery.

The battery on the 12R is incredible. Only thing I genuinely dislike about the phone is the curved edge screen.
Thanks, I can't stand curved edge screen. OP8 is also curved, great phone but hate typing on curved screens

Does camera matter to you? I would probably stick with 11 or spring for 12 (not r) if I wanted to upgrade.

It was a great phone. Used it for 4.5 years, I think. My daughter is using it now. I think that Att also hasn't whitelisted my varient of the Op9 pro 5g (t mobile model)

Edit: works fine for most stuff, but wifi calling is disabled.
