Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

I ordered 2 phones and they are unlocked now. Yesterday I put in my Cricket Wireless SIM and within minutes I received a warning that this phone is not compatible and I must turn off and use a compatible phone or else...

I actually paid 2 full months of services.
Wiki has ATT whitelist info -- your phones are fully unlocked but ATT is the problem

ATT won't approve this model number for their network even though hardware wise its the same as the model that they sell -- its alrdy been mentioned that this phone is meant for VZ and TMo networks only (or overseas)

Don't buy it for ATT network use

I ordered 2 phones a couple months ago and would like to order another 2. I know I would need to create a new straighttalk account, but could I use the same name/address on the new account along with ordering using a different credit card to get an order to go thru?

--

Update: Got shipping confirmation email for new order using a new straightalk account (with a different email address of course) and different credit card but using same name/address.

Use another name, credit card. maybe a family member.

I found it's not necessary to use a different name and address on a new order. Only used a different credit card on a new straight talk account.

Probably Verizon is planning to screw you after November 2024.

Just wanted to thank everyone that had issues getting their phone unlocked a month ago and had to escalate it to get it fixed. The one I bought unlocked at exactly 60 days, no issue.

Is this a "mid level" phone that would be great for testing games? Or playing them, etc?

Also, can I cancel the service once done? I just need WiFi.

I'd think this phone is exactly what you would be looking for unless you are okay doing used Galaxy S2x level phones.

$50 for this or ~$250 for used galaxy

If you didn't select auto pay there won't be a charge.
Do not assume AT&T will allow activation without verifying model number first - they have a pretty restrictive list of phones they will accept & this one may not be included.
There is no mention of this is a prepaid plan. Can you pls confirm these are prepaid plans?
