The 2022 S95B was first gen QD-OLED & had a super thin panel that bent very easily. Therefore I would never recommend buying that version used.

This is a 2023 model & they supposedly reinforced the panel, but take a look at how thin it still is. You're really rolling the dice when buying one of these used.

This was $1800 new the majority of the time. You could save $400 buying a "excellent" open box. Probably only worth it if it is super easy for you to transport the TV & if you have no problem packing it back up & returning it if something is wrong with it.

When new price for this set dropped to $1800, I jumped on the deal. I've been extremely happy with the PQ. The colors are more vibrant as compared to the LG B and C series sets. I own an LG which is great but QD-Oled is the current king of display technology.

Bought it last year for $1800 and it's an amazing TV. We have it mounted on the wall and I would buy another one at this price if there were any around.

best to buy a 3rd party accidental, cheaper than BB version. Just get your money back if they cant fix it.

Just as a yardstick, Costco has the S90C for $1899 with 5 years of coverage: Last time I looked around, coverage cost a pretty penny - just checked Best Buy and it looks like 5 year coverage would cost another $454

Have just gone through years of hell with a poorly designed Sony TV (yup - x930D - always thought Sony were the best until then), am sorely tempted but I worry about the burn in - kids leave the TV on etc. So I wouldn't buy an OLED without some kind of coverage. Am thinking though that maybe mini-LEDs are the best way forward, especially for bright rooms?

5 year Geek Squad was $279 for open box, which still leaves it quite a bit cheaper than the new costco. About $1750 vs $2000 after tax.

OMG.......this is a fire sale
Probably very YMMV at this point though

I see $1649 new in box but none available
How is $200 or so off the new price a fire sale. If they actually sold for $2200 that would be a great deal but at $1650 new…decent deal but nothing crazy

Online seems only fair condition is available. Shall I try to buy a fair condition TV? It seems really bad about fair condition online

I'd buy one if available(it is not). You can always return it(if you have a big truck).

I have the s90c bought a day back from samsung direct and picked up at bestbuy with cash back and taxes included total for $1550. I have been using hdfury arcana for a while on my previous samsung tv and just switched to this one-dolby vision is incredible and brings the best out of this panel. Found some settings template on avs forum and tweaked to work for my bright room hdr and all set

There are work arounds to get it on Samsung. Use hdfury arcana and it works flawlessly
