Bought and sold this. Unfortunately, the fan noise is very annoying on this one, and no setting seems to help. Also, if you are sensitive to PWM, this laptop has some of the worst PWM I have encountered on any laptop. Other than that, it is a decent deal, but I am going to pass this time even though these are available at our local store.

It's not. They sold out in one day last time in most of MC stores.
I have one. The fan is annoying for sure. And the system sucks with driver issues. But otherwise it's fantastic.

Can you elaborate on the driver issues? Seems like a huge problem that can make the laptop unusable.

I got this from last deal. I don't find the fan noise that bad but then I only use it for remote work so not really putting heavy load on the system. Are you guys gaming on it?

Can anyone explain what PWM is?

The only issue I have is the battery drains 2-3% per day even if the laptop is turned off. The battery last a whole day for me doing remote work so it is not a deal breaker but beware that might be an issue.

Pulse Width Modulation PWM, used for many computer components, but this person is probably complaining about display brightness https://laptopmedia.com/top-lapto...-eyesight/
