Ignorant comment.

I often make my own pasta, but these cans are good for keeping in the pantry for those times when a quick meal might be needed, or to keep as emergency supplies.

It wasn't that long ago during Covid when most stores in my area were running out of everything and the shelves were empty.

And this is a great price for this deal: $8.70 for 12 cans is the cheapest that I have ever seen these go for.

Nobody is claiming that this is gourmet food and I wouldn't want to eat this every day, but I don't mind having a few cans of this sitting in my pantry, because there are certain times when it comes in handy.

These aren't bad. The Walmart brand is almost all meat. Can't remember exactly about this one but I know it wasn't bad. I'm on a high protein diet but in for one to put on the shelf for drunk cheat days.

Seems like maybe u/jenesaisquoi should get the credit as they initially posted this in your prior thread.

Sad that we can't get decent Progresso or Campbell's Chunky soup this cheap - even on sale!

My girlfriend eats this SpaghettiO garbage sometimes, but I won't be buying it for her.

I'm not sure how they do that because the nutrition info says otherwise. GV has 2g less of protein, and 2g more of fat per can than Campbell's. That aside, 63¢ per can for Campbell's (after coupon and max S&S) constitutes a 44% discount compared to the GV.

Naw, I only mention deals in existing threads, so it doesn't count, but thanks.

Thanks for the info. I'm on a bodybuilder 160 gram a day protein lean as hell diet so either one would be a cheat, but it's good to know. I can feel a little less guilty with Camp McBells.
