I'm not the most steak grilling guy around, but why would one use this vs a pat of butter, if you're going for that?

I never really got the butter on steak thing, but watching Gordon Ramsay enough has helped me understand why one would

I use butter if cooking in a cast iron frying pan and this if I'm grilling outdoors or Sous vide (and then sear in butter after)

I have this seasoning. It isn't that very flavorful to me and the most prominent flavor in it is salt.

Got this recently, still prefer the Chicago flavor. Not great for creating a sear/blackening. I use this one on veggies and stuff, instead.

This stuff is pretty good on vegetables. Savory butter flavor with maybe a tiny bit of herb. I use it a lot on popcorn. To me, popcorn 'butter' seasoning doesn't have much taste and this stuff does it much better.

I bought the bigger size at $4 last time around. It's easy to use for everything. The taste is good and it's not over powering.
Definitely try it at $2

I use this! On its own, it doesn't taste like much. But on meat (pork and chicken) with other seasonings (we like the Mediterranean seasoning from Lidl, or other spice mixes), just rub it on the meat, and stick it in the air fryer. It tastes great!

I use this instead of/in addition to a real chunk of butter because it packs a lot more flavor with a lot less fat. I can get away with using less butter and get a lot more of a concentrated butter flavor.

I have 2 more bottles in storage, so I won't buy anymore lol. I think I picked it up for like a $1 on clearance from Giant a month or so back.
