Good price but the retail is ridiculous. It's never that high.

Philips had a nationwide recall. They will send you a new machine free if your serial number matches their database. Might want to see if you can get a new free one first. I like my Resmed better than the Philips but you can't beat free.

I have the 11(this one) and it works great. No issues with reservoir. I noticed sometimes it will turn itself on but that's extremely rare.
Love the heated air tube on this one too. And the new mask design (full face mask with nasal pillow I think it's called?) with the tube on the crown of your head instead of in front of your face is the breast

How well do these machines help you stay focused, alert and awake the next day after using them throughout the night
Much much better. Takes time to get used to but once you do... for me I cant fall asleep without it. It's like a trigger that tells my brain it's time to sleep and I'm out. When I wake up I'm refreshed. Unlike before when I was groggy even after more than 8 hours.

Is there an easy way to get an RX for these without the whole jumping through hoops process?
Not really... you prob should get a sleep study to make sure you need one. It's a pain but worth it if needed. It's a complete game changer. Not only.for wakefulness the next day but for your overall health. Sleep apnea is associated with several things that can shorten your lifespan. Way worth jumping through those hoops.

Thank you for this! I already have this machine but was looking to get the AirMini (travel CPAP). The coupon codes listed here don't work for the AirMini, but that prompted me to try a few, and I found a couple that knocked 25% off on each of the websites:

The CPAP Shop: use code PRIMESALE
CPAP.com: use code summersave

These codes may work for other products too, but I haven't tried.

Edit: confirmed the codes work for AirSense 11 too, but the discount is not as good ($675 and $699, respectively).

I have the AirSense 10 AutoSet and I haven't needed to have any changes made by a doctor or health care provider - the automatic pressure algorithm (AutoSet) works great. There are some basic settings that you are able to change yourself (ie- mask type, humidifier level, ramp-up time, etc.). I remember many years ago my friend had an older model and how he had to access the doctor menu in order to fiddle with the pressure settings.
Tap and hold with two fingers on the main screen. That'll unlock the main settings. I found that the initial startup pressure of 5 was way too low for me so I bumped it up. Now its perfect!

Give me some advice...

Using a DeVilbiss travel CPAP for the past 14 years (that's not a typo), since original diagnosis. Bare bones, basic device, because my insurance didn't cover it. It still works, but no bells and whistles or reports, and really only helps a bit. (I ain't doin' another sleep study. Torture.)

This is the first time I've _ever_ seen a CPAP come up on Slickdeals. I'm tempted. Thoughts???

I see people mentioning AirSense 10 having been much less in here a few months back. I'd sure rather pay $300 than $645 for a new one. Jump on this? Keep using the old dinosaur and wait?

I appreciate your help!
The unit that was on sale recently did not have the wireless (cellular) myair built in (sd card only). Still a good machine, but if you are new to this or need to see your sleep data, its a pita.

To each their own. IMO the 10 is A WHOLE HECK OF A LOT MORE RELIABLE than the 11 ever will be. I know tons of ppl that have trouble with the water chamber on the 11 not sealing properly and therefore causing a very bad leak. It is a design flaw that they (the manufacturer and DME companies) likely are becoming more and more aware of as time goes on. Since it is a design flaw no amount of software updates could likely ever remedy it either. They might get better in the future but currently all the 11 models on the market are pretty junky.

My Resmed 10 has just reached 5 years old and I have an appointment scheduled next week with my ENT for her to prescribe and new one.

Is there any benefit asking to use this supplier vs a local supplier? - my insurance, Anthem Blue Cross, co-pay will be the same.

There is sweater deal:

https://www.cpap.com/productpage/...ter-bundle

Add the starter bundle but not choosing any other items, add it to the cart and apply SLEEPDEALS,
we can get the same ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet CPAP Machine.

The total comes out as $448.20, Cheers

I did add AirSense 11 Heated Tubing, a few AirSense 11 Standard Filter, DreamWear Silicone Nasal Pillow Fit Pack, the total is about $582 +tax,
seems pretty good deal.

How does DreamWear Silicone Nasal compare to other masks, any first hand experience? I am active sleeper, thought tube over head could be easier for newbie

Nice!! I ended up getting an Airsense 10 from sleeplay because they were the only ones who will take back a CPAP. I've never used one and I'm not real sure I will stick with it. This way I've got 30 days to see what it's like. Otherwise your deal there is awesome.

I have the air since 10 and 11 I use the 10 for almost 4 years. I've used 11 for about six months. The 11 has an automatic on and off without touching the machine if I simply put my mask on and start breathing, it turns on if I pull the mask off in the night Will shut off automatically within four or five seconds the 11 also has automatic settings that adjust pressure and et and it works great. I sleep much much better with the 11 and 11 both have in my case cellular connection to providers and my Sleep company that sold me the machines and an SD card, which you can simply pull out of your machine before an appointment and hand it to your doctor and they can read it on their computer..
I've used the traveling and I do not sleep as well. I use the 11 and it's dramatically better for me. .

Weird, it says the 10 has the auto on/off.

It depends on your insurance. I have a $1500 deductible. For me, paying $650 with HSA was cheaper and easier than going through insurance.
