This price cut was a pleasant surprise, so I am in for one.

I did not experience the wobble mentioned. There might be a difference in build between 4060 & 4070. Luckily mine does not wobble and is sturdy. I also couldn't replicate the wobble while typing.
I didn't realize the importance of liftmode, but he mentioned the 2024 design runs much cooler than the 2023 so the new design probably didn't need the liftmode and sidevent features of the 2023 version.
Seems the main negatives mentioned revolves the slight decreases in power to the GPU & CPU which he attributed to the slimmer design
1) capped TGP of 90w
2) a difference of 1.5% FPS decrease running 90w vs 100w
3) switches from 120Hz to 60Hz when unplugged
4) the 4070 runs close to 4060 competitors due to lower power
The worst critique was about screws and the non upgradeable RAM.
I didn't think he reviewed AI performance though, unless I missed it.
But overall, performance wise, he mentioned the decrease in watts was negligible.
I do agree that the BIOS options are basic, but my previous laptop was a Zenbook which had a similar layout. I wonder which Asus has a customizable BIOS options?
Sorry, this reply got a bit wordy.
But thank you for the link. I am now more certain that the 16GB 4060 is more than adequate for my needs.
Oh and I grabbed the G14 based off the review by Rtings.

A few notices:
I just checked MyAsus and it show my warranty expires 06/25/25.
Will Asus not honor that and limit me to just 90 days?
