I once bought a pulse oximeter from Newegg that was on sale. The pulse oximeter was defective. When I sent it back to Newegg, they charged me a restocking fee that matched what I originally paid for the pulse oximeter. Since then, I've sworn never to buy anything from them again.

good price but newegg isnt a certified reseller of western digital, for those that care (not sure if it would affect warranty issue)

For the experts. A stand-alone 20TB 3.5 is way more expensive than this one. Could I buy a bunch of these and pull out the drive?

That's "shucking" it is done with a lot of external hard drives . I would google if you can shuck this particular one . I'm sure the info is out there

Yes, that is possible. People have been doing it for years. It's called shucking. I've done it for 8TB drives and up.
