Just came back from best buy store . I told rep that I need to order pixel 7a with Verizon which is having promotion price of $129. Not sure what he did but he gave the phone for $129 without even activating the line with Verizon. Also did not charge sales tax.

I just checked, if activate with Verizon, the cheapest plan is Unlimited Welcome $65.00/mo.?

Dumb question, I know it says unlocked, but does "Connect to any carrier later" mean I can just pop my Red Pocket sim in and it will work?

Great deal. I already have the Pixel 6a and try to wait 2 or 3 generations between a line so it doesn't make much sense for me to upgrade my pixel 6a. If someone has an older pixel a-line series and enjoy the line, this is good deal to upgrade with.

Don't forget to check your email as best buy recently sent out $5-10 reward bucks for lots of best buy reward members. I got the email.

Yes, I have unlocked pixels from Best buy, and a family plan though red pocket, works great.

I figured I'd sell my Cosmic Emerald Moto G Stylus 5G from 2022 as well as 2 Metro 2023 models and pick up this Pixel 7a with the better camera.

I also chatted with US Mobile just to make sure all I need to do is plug the SIM card in. Thanks so much, OP!

I just use at&t prepaid 55 a month for two phones.
I will upgrade this phone in 2026
I could care less about gaming on a phone as long as I can get android 16 which this phone will be good for another 2 years in os updates and has 2 years more in security updates than the 350+tax Sony oneplus12r

also it would seem installing a custom os on a pure Android phone is also something I might pursue in the future
