All nuts and connections are plastic. Was leaking to begin with, then cracked just by tightening with hand. Pretty garbage.

Honestly I don't know why people like this thing, my brother has the one with both the shower and handheld and it's incredibly mediocre with the water not shutting off fully when switching between the two and feels plasticky and cheap.

Ive had this thing for years, but just recently discovered how easily it is to remove the flow restrictor. Night and day difference! I love showers now, hahaaha

If you have kids take shower under this, I would suggest to avoid any magnet thing, they easily come off and hurt them, speaking from real experience

I have had a similar one now for a few years and love it, really like how it is magnetic.

Just aid $40 for this last week, it's great. The magnetic base swivels perfectly, the magnet is strong but you don't need to yank it off. I'm tempted to replace the handheld in my other bathroom at this price even though it's working fine.

Brushed nickel is just about the same price.

Using over 3 years now, no issues. Water pressure is OK even without "modifications", especially using a couple of the settings. Magnetic hold is secure yet the head pulls away without excessive force. A bonus is that it's easier for height-challenged to reach as it attaches at the sprayhead, not at the base of the handle like many other designs.

This was my experience. We returned it without even installing it after opening the packaging and figuring this out. Moen should be embarrased to even have their name on it.

For the complaints about fittings being plastic, etc... this is a quality budget showerhead. Problem with it? Call or email and get it replaced under warranty. This is the Moen brand, not a cheap no name brand. They will replace it, ASAP.

recently installed three of the hammerhead brand shower wands -- very nice and no plastic. MUCH better than all the plastic crap being offered from the big/name brands.

We have kids and have these. We just use an extra base and mount in low to make it easier to reach for everyone. It makes showering them so much easier.

And they're worth every penny. They're also 20% off during Prime Days right now. Ordered one for my 2nd bathroom and I've installed these in 3 separate houses over the last decade. All still working like the day I installed them.
