I tend to move my controllers around on different devices. I know for a fact I'm going to misplace that 2.4ghz adapter at some point. I would go with the Bluetooth version for more flexibility.

The Ultimate 2.4G version does have Bluetooth support (added through firmware update after initial launch: https://www.reddit.com/r/8bitdo/c...t/kzwkamm/). It just won't work with Switch. The Ultimate Bluetooth version has its own limitations/quirks with its Bluetooth connection only supporting Switch mode (no XInput or DirectInput support in Bluetooth mode).
Lot of deals on these "ultimate" controllers. Hoping for some more deals on the Pro2 ones (more PlayStation-like) since these are just too bulky for me and my kid.

I'm not sure why this is a Lightning Deal right now, as this sale price has been consistent since early yesterday morning. Perhaps, they're running low on reserved stock?

On my ultimate, the wireless adapter can plug into the base, which then plugs into my steam deck dock via USB. So a bit harder to lose the adapter at least, if that helps

This controller also has Bluetooth functionality. I have this model and only use it in Bluetooth.
Fantastic controller. I have 2 of these and a KK3 and prefer these any day. The charging stand is incredible. Always charged and always has a place to go n
